You might yet be right. I am just afraid it will be 2000 redux, we all thought PA was in play, we all thought Michigan was in play...

and it didn't happen.

Yeah, the dynamics are different now, but I think Dubya needs to lock up Ohio first.

I'll be interested in seeing what some of the polls say after a BUNCH of people get to watch tonight's showing on the Skerry Special. Plus, if it rakes him but good, other people may get a copy to watch next week.

If Bush can overcome the voter fraud in Philadelphia, he will carry the Pennsylvania....

Gov. Ed Rendell is making sure Bush does not carry Pennsylvania. You do know who was DNC chairman and was dumped. He will work like heck to make sure Kerry gets Pa. Bob Bekel (sp) said they will win Pennsylvania one way or the other when he was on Fox this morning. He said it all. Democrats are on the offense and getting real ugly with mailings and phone calls. They are not only asking us to vote for Kerry they are insulting us when we say we are voting for Bush

The war in Iraq has really hit PA. A lot of soldiers were lost from PA and a lot of relatives and friends of those lost are taking it out on W.

PA is a lost cause imo...and Bush will have been there 45 times by November 2nd.

HOW can kerry win PA? Impossible!!! BUSH has to win PA, and I think he will. This poll is bogus. Anyone supporting kerry has zero common sense.

Q polls are unreliable. Insiders consider them "worthless"

Unfortunately the Skerry special isn't playing in the Philly region, 2 stations in Pittbsurgh, but honestly Bush has this part of the state pretty much locked up anyway. Its the Philly area where Bush needs to show solid to win the state... he's got the rest of it locked up.

Before 9/11, people who voted based on which candidate promised them more federal handouts was sort of understandable. After 9/11, what difference will ANY federal assistance be if we have another large-scale attack that brings our economy to a standstill? Where do these self-centered voters think all that federal money comes from, the tooth fairy?

Since you live in PA, why not write a letter to the editor of your major newspapers there, saying more or less what I just did, assuming you agree? At least put those stupid voters on notice about how self-centered and stupid they are being. No time to waste to get it printed before 11/2.

Did you read how Kerry's campaign stops were going? (Kerry Spot)

COMPARE AND CONTRAST [10/22 11:12 AM]

Kerry Spot reader Keith has a ticket to the George W. Bush rally in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday. He e-mails in to mention that Bush was supposed to appear at the Jacksonville Landing, but they moved the venue to the stadium to accommodate more people.

Meanwhile, Kerry's recent appearance in Minnesota didn't quite go so well. From the column of Minnesota Star Tribune columnist Nick Coleman:

John Kerry came to Minneapolis and dropped in on the backside parking lot of the Metrodome and droned on for half an hour to a crowd of supporters who had been waiting for two hours in the cold before he was introduced by Walter Mondale and delivered his canned stump speech.
Thursday night's rally produced a nice campaign turnout, but it also was proof we have reached campaign burnout: Thousands of Kerry supporters left before their man finished talking, scramming like Twins fans in the sixth inning of a blowout, going home glad to have seen their champion but feeling no need for another inning of stale lines about how Bush should've killed Osama in Tora Bora.
