Exactly.
Yup. But once again, no mention of the fact that Keyes won, or kicked Obama's ass, to be more precise.
In a bid to jolt his long-shot candidacy, Keyes excoriated Obama for coddling gang members, proposing kindergartners learn about sex and using his faith disingenuously to get votes.
Each punch was a direct hit. If this was a prize-fight the fight would have been stopped after the first round. Instead, Obama was on the receiving end of a fifteen round beating.
It was a straight up contest between conservatism and liberalism, albeit a masked liberalism.
Socialist candidates like Obama have to masquerade as 'moderates' in a general election, because they know they couldn't win in any except the absolute most liberal enclaves in the country if they ran a what they really are.
As you said, conservatism, in the person of Alan Keyes, won every round overwhelmingly.
You're from Illinois, right? Any buzz about the debates at work? Anyone?
I'm not 'from Illinois', but I'm in Illinois.
The buzz from both debates so far has been very much favorable to Alan.
Excellent! The chatter may get more people interested in tuning into the next debate. If Alan repeats his dominating performance in the second debate, who knows? He may have a shot.
The thing that I'm afraid of is the media telling people to believe them and not their lying eyes.
Yeah, I know. The media filter is not our friend.
Well, I have to say this for Obama. At least he had the courage to stick with his promise of six debates.
Oh wait.
What's the opposite of courage, again?
;)
