The guerrillas have been in the business of killing native tribes for many years in the Sierra Nevada.

The only time I went to the Sierra was when I was 6, but it was beautiful. In a peaceful Colombia this place would have endless possibilities for a tourism business.

Now, it's dominated by irregular armed groups at either side, and just now the Colombian Army is rooting them out.

Interesting. The girl who works in the cubicle next to me is Columbian and she talks often about her family there. Never once mentioned any of that.
