NOTE: Link for viewing Stolen Honor will be in the first reply! This was in an email sent to the Bush 2004 Group to make Stolen Honor available to everyone so we don't have to rely on Sinclair!
After viewing this entire film, STOLEN HONOR with tears and a sickening knot in my stomach, there was never any doubt before that Kerry is not fit to be President. Now, I would like to see him tried for treason. I agree that any apology now is too late and will never make up for the 30 years, Vietnam Veterans have had to suffer disgrace at his lies. I did a tape the other day at which I broke down twice just reading the words of a Vietnam Veteran. To see the horror that these POWs went through is beyond belief. You want to pretend it's a movie, it's not real but you know damn well, it is real. These men and their families have suffered beyond what any human should suffer over the years and we now owe them. Please stop all the garbage talk and get this film out all over America. I'm glad I ordered the DVD. It is a piece of history to pass down from generation to generation. I watched this on Windows Media and had a full screen of pain. No one who has ever served their country should be allowed to suffer like this at the hands of a traitor running for the highest office in the country. This is a great country. Let us show our Vietnam Veterans that we care. FORWARD THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN YOU KNOW. THE HELL WITH SINCLAIR WE NOW HAVE THE ENTIRE HISTORICAL EVENT OF STOLEN HONOR. SEND IT TO FRIENDS, FAMILIES AND EVEN DEMOCRATS WHO DON'T WANT TO KNOW. SHOW THESE VETERANS WE CARE AND LET'S ROLL. MY GOD AND IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY BUY THE DVD TO SUPPORT THEIR EFFORTS. FORGET THE DAMN NEW CLOTHES OR TOYS, LET'S HELP THEM OUT. GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS, OUR MILITARY AND OUR PRESIDENT. TIME TO DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT AND URGENT. WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME LEFT.
xxxxx
PS MY FIRST FORWARD WILL BE TO A DEMOCRAT WHO I KNOW WILL PASS IT ON.
I would like to make one clarification on this video regarding the segment featuring Admiral (later Senator) Jeremiah Denton: Prior to the interview depicted, Denton was severely tortured to force him to condemn U.S. policy. He defied his captors by stating the following: " I don't know what is going on in the war now because the only sources I have access to are North Vietnamese radio, magagines and newspapers. But whatever the position of my government is, I agree with it, support it and will support it as long as I live." Not only had Denton defied his captors with his words, but he consistently blinked "TORTURE" in Morse Code during the interview. This was later detected by Naval intelligence and it was the first confirmation of torture to U.S. POW's by the North Vietnamese. Afterwards, Denton was again severely tortured for his defiance. As strongly and positively as this video portrays our POW's, such heroism is beyond our imaginings. .......................................................................................Steve Sherman

I have been checking stations - so far not shown in this area - Is this the only day it is showing - ?
just wondering -

The producer of Stolen Honor, Carlton Sherwood, was on local radio this afternoon (WBAL Baltimore). He said that as of this coming Monday, downloads of the film will be free.
The web site is stolenhonor.com.
I expect to see their server melt on Monday.
I am really not sure -- someone sent the link to the Bush 2004 group and asked us to pass it on so people not having access to the movie could see it in its entirety.
It is available right now -- I have it playing as I am typing. I was already 20 minutes into it when I had to check the link and it started over. Very powerful movie and everyone needs to see this movie.
Perfect picture!

bump for tonight - can't wait to watch it! Thank SO much!!!!
Danke :)
I'm playing it also. The picture is just a little postage stamp size. Anyway I can make it bigger? Anyone?
Click on the full screen but it gets a little blurry.
Thanks, PKM. It is full screen, but the picture remains tiny. It is no less powerful.
Just received this in email -- way too late for lawsuits as it is out now on the Net and it will be sent around everywhere:
Another Lawsuit Hits 'Stolen Honor'
Filmmaker George Butler sued Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. on Thursday, saying its documentary showing a one-sided view of presidential candidate John Kerry's anti-war activities violates his copyrights by using pictures and film without permission.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, seeks unspecified damages and a halt to any use of the material Butler has created in the more than three decades he has documented Kerry's life. Butler said in the lawsuit that Sinclair infringed upon his copyrights by the unauthorized reproduction of pictures and film for its documentary "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal."
The 42-minute Sinclair film consists largely of interviews with U.S. prisoners of the Vietnam War who survived torture in Hanoi and became enraged at Kerry and others for suggesting they had suffered for an unjust cause.
Messages left for comment with lawyers for Sinclair, based in Hunt Valley, Md., were not immediately returned.
Butler has taken at least 6,000 pictures of Kerry since he began documenting his life in 1969, convinced he eventually would be president. Some of the photos were published in the book "John Kerry: A Portrait."
Kerry, a Democratic senator from Massachusetts, served as captain of a Swift boat in Vietnam and won three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star for heroism. His service became a major campaign issue this year as several veterans who served on other boats appeared in television ads questioning his record and criticizing his later anti-war comments.
Butler has created a documentary, "Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry," in which some of Kerry's Swift Boat crew praise his leadership and valor. The portrayal differs from the anti-Kerry message in ads run by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, which accuses Kerry of exaggerating his service record.
The Butler film, released Oct. 1, traces Kerry's tour of duty as a patrol boat leader in Vietnam and his later involvement in the peace movement as a disillusioned veteran.
The lawsuit alleges that the Sinclair documentary also infringes on the copyrights of "Winter Soldier," a 1970s documentary chronicling Vietnam veterans describing atrocities they had seen.
The Kerry campaign announced Thursday it will not participate in the Sinclair news program even though the company has decided against airing the entire "Stolen Honor" documentary.
Sinclair, whose executives are contributors to Republican causes, originally said the hourlong program would air in prime time on all of its 62 stations, many in swing states, prompting protests from critics and shareholders. On Tuesday, the company announced the program would appear on 40 stations and would feature parts, but not all, of the documentary.
Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton said Sinclair's announcement was "a panicked attempt to appear fair and reasonable."
Sinclair said its Friday program, "A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media," will examine the use of documentaries to influence elections. Sinclair's vice president of news, Joe DeFeo, has said he hoped to have Kerry or a campaign representative appear on the show.
In its refusal, the Kerry campaign noted that Sinclair fired its Washington bureau chief after he publicly criticized the program.
"When their own top political reporter had the courage to speak up, they fired him _ that tells you everything you need to know about them," Clanton said. "The Kerry campaign is in no way cooperating with this discredited, partisan effort that Sinclair is poorly disguising as news."
Thank you!!! Bump
I have it minimized and listening to the movie -- very powerful. Am on the part where the so-called Vietnam Vets are making up their stories and now Kerry's testimony to the Senate.
I'm listening to the stories of the torture. It is nearly unbearable. I think if I ever got close to Jane Fonda or Tom Hayden, I would hit them.
bump
My sentiments exactly. To hear a POW talk about hayden coming into the prison camp while he was standing in a circle made me mad all over again at those slimes including Kerry.
Sending to everyone I know, now.
bttt
It is very powerful -- no wonder the Kerry folks don't want people to view this! Kerry should have been tried for treason IMHO!
Hope that everyone watches this and passes it on -- before anyone casts a vote for John Kerry, they need to view this movie Stolen Honor!
just watched some of the presentation. My blood is boiling. Its an absolute disgrace that a traitor like Kerry could even have a chance to become president. he should be languishing in jail along with hayden and bitc_ fonda.
For good measure, i'd also like to see ramsey clark and macnamara do some time also.
I am with you 100% -- I am almost to the end and I keep saying I HATE JOHN KERRY! They are now saying that Kerry committed an act of treason and now he wants us to forget -- the Medal of Honor winner said he will never forget. Neither will I or anyone I know!
Kerry is a traitor and everyone who supports him supports a traitor!
Those of us with dialups, though, might prefer to watch it tonight.
And folks, even if you can watch the documentary on the net, please watch Sinclair's presentation too. I understand they are going after the 'rat censorship and the media as well in some segments. It should be worth at least recording!
For those who may not know.....that is Steve Pitkin that Kerry is talking to, followed by Kenneth Campbell asking about Quang Tri. Campbell is the University of Delaware professor that has filed a lawsuit against the producers of Stolen Honor. The guy who remembers Quang Tri is Scott Camil. Camil is known as "Scott the Assassin" for encouraging the murder of political leaders, including 6 Senators. This plot was discussed, and voted on,in the Kansas City meeting that Kerry said he didn't attend. Witnesses and FBI records have proven that Kerry was at this meeting.
Dialups would take a long while. Carlton Sherwood's presentation at the end has to be heard as it destroys Kerry and the media and he is 100% correct IMO.
I'm watching right now, unbelievably powerful. Its no wonder the lefty fascists are trying to bury it.
Thanks for that information.
Finally an actual investigative journalist speaking out!
Thank you so much for the link!
I am with you -- no wonder the leftists want this buried. It is one of the most power documentaries I have ever seen!
Thanks for posting the link. Keep up the good work, Freepers!
Aside from the extreme liberal slant of this law suit story, isn't this a new law suit? Surely Sinclair wouldn't be so foolish as to breach copyright.
Prairie
I just found the other link and watched a minute or two. I'll save the rest for after dinner.
