They're trying very hard to show both sides. So far, Kerry doesn't have much about which to complain. It's pretty softball.

They may be a newbie, but I agree with the sentiment. This special is more about sinclair having some kind of news show of its own...it's not what it was supposed to be so I have two thoughts..
either they caved to the pressure
or this was a media stunt to get them all kinds of controversial coverage then when its seen, the media will call it a wonderful show...
Now they're talking about media and the campaign...it's crap. I'm turning it off NOW

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST A THREAD ON THIS HORRIBLE SO CALLED DOCUMENTRY.
It came on here on MD @8pm, I turned it off after 40 minutes.
Honestly the POW Story that Sinclair put together makes Kerry look very sympathetic.

I just quit watching this travesty. I am furious! More attention was given to Kerry's movie and it's director, George Butler, etc. than any of the Stolen Honor movie.When they belittled Bush's guard service, that was when I gave up on this crap. I am so disgusted I can barely type. I will be contacting Sinclair. It was a damn ad for Kerry!

Troll? Maybe so, but the show does suck. Catch some of the other threads, you'll find other long-time Freepers like me saying the same thing. The show rots.
If you want to see the video, go download it or buy it--they only showed about 5 minutes of it on this documentary. (And, it was the best part of the show--it all went downhill after that.)

you guys need to think about something, the lawyer that is defending Kerry is the same guy thats putting companies like Enron in jail, he is very well known. He has threatened to charge Sinclair with insider trading, bogus but could bring the network down. And by the way he has donated thousands to John Edwards.

Are you talking about the quality of the picture/audio? Because if that's the case, come Monday the hi res version will be available for free download.
If you're talking about the production qualities, well I don't know how much up front money they had to work with, but it doesn't matter when you hear those vet's words and see their faces.
This is a slam dunk, and those putting it down, well, I have to wonder where you're coming from.

I beg to disagree with the posted statement. I found the movie to be quite balanced... and it still hangs John Kerry. I certainly see why the Kerry campaign is so against it. It is certainly much more factual than Fahrenheit 911. I wish it had been shown on free tv. I sent the link to several of my friends; I hope they watch it.
Having been born in 1949, I lived through the Vietnam era and this movie is the first time that I've seen anything like this which matches my recollections of what went on.

It seems this has turned into an entire media event where Sinclair is defending itself. That is what it has turned into.
Sinclair wanted to redeem itself, at any cost. In the end folks will see the documentary, and make their decision.
Indeed it makes Kerry look better. Shame on Sinclair ... and what they did not SHOW.
