OK, I made it through about 30 minutes of it, taping it for my dad, who thought it was going to be mostly about "Stolen Honor", the documentary. I stopped the tape about halfway through.
It was poorly edited, with no clear message, it rambled, and the cuts from the documentary weren't even the best cuts.
I think the whole point the POWs were, and are, trying to make was lost in this program. They didn't pin that pro-Kerry Vietnam Vet down with respect to the impact their testimony had on the POWs. It doesn't matter what they thought they were trying to achieve. Whether their intentions were bad or good (giving them the benefit of the doubt for the moment, for the sake of argument), they have NEVER acknowledged the harm they caused the POWs, the psychological and physical harm. They refuse to acknowledge the consequences of their actions were visited upon the POWs in a very hurtful and negative way. They want to dismiss it, ignore it, sweep it under the rug, and even say their anti-war activities actually SHORTENED the POWs misery, which only adds insult to injury.
I was hoping this program would finally give them a voice, but their voice wasn't adequately heard tonight.
SAME THING!
This must have been Kerry's "October Surprise"--they must be laughing their butts off over at DU!
The Sinclair VP on FOX today admitted that there are many more Kerry bumperstickers in their parking lot--than there are Bush ones.
This was a thoroughly disappointing production...
It was kinda lame ... about 45 minutes in I became distracted by my desire for Maker's Mark!
What a bunch of crap. I'm so ticked I can hardly type. What did they show? 30 seconds?
Boycott spineless Sinclair Broadcasting. The entire program was a John Kerry rebuttal. These cowards backed down from exposing the TRUTH.
Boycott their advertisers and sell their stock.
Just finished watchin' The POW Story really was a cave by Sinclair. It was as heart breaking as it was watchin' Kerry and Fonda upon my return from NAM. They almost made Kerry out to be a hero for his part after his experience in Vietnam. The man was a liar then and still. It is a shame people can not see through the charade.

Copy the link and email it to everyone you know. They can't stop it from being broadcast this way.
it was TERRIBLE......more than one sided for Kerry...maybe 10 minutes about the POWS, and they still had Kerrys people there to carry on his side...then some girl did a piece on the ads for campaigns and it was ALL a Kerry fest...everytime as she was talking in the background one of the Swift Boat Vets ad would be up there, a big red LIARS would be over them...
it didnt even show his book, which would have been really relevent to the POW story, NOTHING......
piece of crap backstabbers
Total cave-job. I am ashamed of them.
I thought it was a sKerry ad too. Shut it off at 7:30, Switched to BOR. He was pretty torked off at the slimeballs at AlQaeda TV broadcasting the lady begging for her head. Tac nuke, E.M.P. time??
Well, I guess it's a good thing that I live in an area that isn't broadcasting the show. However, I just finished watching Stolen Honor off of the website and it was very damning to Kerry. The site was listed many times on earlier posts.
It is no longer the issue of "Stolen Honor," it is the issue of the freedom that was "stolen" from the American people tonight. I am sincerely and honestly frightened and every American should be as well. We have just experienced the same censorship that happens every day in Communist controlled countries. They receive the same watered down and sanitized crap that we saw tonight. Our troops are dying in Baghdad so that Iraqis can have the freedoms that we just lost with this debacle. What is it going to take for us Great Americans to realize we are no longer free?
I agree. The whole thing with the exception of the first ten minutes was like one long political ad for Kerry. I just turned the d*mn thing off when they promised to discuss Bush's military career after the halfway commercial. Hells bells Bush isn't running on his Military service and he has released all his records-Kerry is the mystery man.
Sinclair sucks.
Dear Sir or Madam:
I feel that I just wasted an hour of my time watching your watered down "news" show.
It is obvious that the DNC and liberal MSM "got to you". It is unfortunate, as I really had hoped that finally a somewhat major, mainstream media group would tell it like it is, threats be damned. What I saw was a production that was so careful not to step on John Kerry's toes (lest he apply for another Purple Heart) that the effect was ultimately something that played like a Barbara Walters interview.
Nothing about why Kerry won't sign a Form 180 to release his service records. Nothing to correct George Butler's false assertion that it's never been proved that some of the participants in the Winter Soldier testimony were impostors.
I could go on and on, but I'll just close by saying that you certainly don't have to worry about any adverse actions by the F.C.C.. In fact, you might just be receiving a call from the Kerry campaign about producing another "hard hitting piece".
Sincerely,
Personally I think it is a hard hitting, emotionally draining film! Then again, I am a Vietnam Veteran, I may be "SLIGHTLY" biased!!
We passed out 75 flyers with the wrong time on it - we said it was going to be on here in Des Moines at 8:00 PM, it was actually at 7:00 PM. The station told me twice that it was on at 8.
We were wrong and nobody watched it.
(And I am glad).
I just got through watching it online and thought it was great. I'm a Viet Nam Vet so my point of view is colored by my experience. I don't know if enough of those Americans who are younger than myself, or those who have never served in the military, can fully understand what is being discussed in Stolen Honor when they view it.
One thing is for certain, whether or not later generations ever come to understand what John Kerry did to the reputations of those who served with honor is not really the issue. The issue is whether John Kerry himself fully understands that there is nothing he can do, nothing, that will wipe the slate clean for a man who would put political ambition above the reputation of his Country's military forces.
Clinton, the draft dodger and loather of the military, was bad enough. I will go to my grave still wondering how this country could elect such a person to the highest office in the land, not once, but twice.
John Kerry has done something even more despicable. He has sacrificed all the things that honorable men hold dear, and he has done it for something as cheap as personal political gain. I don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror in the mornings, knowing what so many people truely think of him.
