FOX...Holbrooke couldn't answer question from OReilly, what would Kerry do in Iraq if elected president. He paused and stuttered and had a dumfounded look on his face.
He of course would formulate a plan...
You would have thought he would have a canned answer for a simple question like that. Im surprised he didnt say "Kerry has a plan"
It was funny. O'Reilly asked him a simple question, amazing that even Holbrooke couldn't come up with a canned answer...............
Jeepers! Like this is a surpise!!
One thing that is obvious and evident about the RAT party...... These butt-munches are without a f**kin' CLUE!!!!
He has a plan. Just go to johnkerry.com
Dial Jacques in the loo to ask first?
Holbrook not only didn't have an answer but O'Reilly didn't really push him when he looked clueless. O'Reilly gave him a pass and that is very telling about the Bloviator.
I did that once. Am still looking for THE PLAN.
?
It will embolden terrorists around the world, and many countries will no longer trust the US to act when its necessary.
He will defer everything to the UN.
I'm watching the replay right now. Pacificst punks. Dangerous to have in charge. I'll bet O'Reilly doesn't aks about Holbrooke's comment about this being a "metaphorical" war. ---- I was right.
We should bomb Al-Jazeera however. Good point O.
He's about to be parted from large amounts of cash, so he might be a little distracted.
"O'Reilly gave him a pass.."
I disagree. I saw the segment and O'Reilly pretty much ridiculed Holbrooke during the entire spot. I'm not a big O'Reilly fan, but every once in a while he does his job, and he made Holbrooke look like a fool tonight.
Holbrooke couldn't say that Aljazeera should be expelled from the USA and also couldn't say that they were terrorists....
He is forever mentioning that damn website.
This is the potential Secretary of State if Kerry is elected. Man, are we gonna be in a heap of trouble.
Did I really hear Bill O in the opening segment call Holbrook "future secretary of state"? I'm wondering if he did, did he even qualify it by saying IF Kerry wins.
Run that by me one more time
??????
O'Reilly as usually is kissing ass for Kerry!!!!!!!!!No hard hitting questions for him .O'Reilly's view sure took a big spin, lets all forget Kerry's record. He said he will now fight the war.So it's so.O Reilly's Kerry's man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!or pervert ,if the shoe fits!
sKerry has a plan,,
to have a plan....
Planning a plan is very difficult....it takes a plan to plan a plan.
GAWD, the DEMS are stuck talking in circles...!
He couldn't say, "SURRENDER" January 23rd.
Humuna humuna humuna. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
What would Kerry do in Iraq if he were President?
Dial Jacques (Chirac) in the loo (in the toilet) to ask (Chirac's opinion) first?
Holbrooke was responsible for the messes in Bosnia and Kosovo.
If O'Reilly had asked him what to do about Belgrade, he would have found the answer easily. Bomb it.
Are you kidding, why of course he answered the question. First, he'd have a meeting with the U.N. and the members of NATO. They'd talk about some vague stuff and draft a totally meaningless resolution. The he'd...oh, what was the term...ah, yes...he'd "reach out" to the more "moderate" Middle Eastern Arab states, and then he'd "put pressure" on Israel, our only solid ally in the Middle East.
There, see, doesn't that make you feel better? I know I'll sleep better tonight.
This is why, after Teddy Kennedy's fiasco of 1980, one
of the many forbidden questions of Kerry is:
"Why do you want to be president?"
I saw that "60 Minutes" show when Teddy simply had no
answer for that question.
He does seem a bit slow. The democrats are a very bright group... To bad they have no brains...
Do nothing bureaucrat blowhard can't give straight answer to straight question. Film at 11.
What we really want from Kerry is a procedure, not a plan. For example, I can plan on doing anything I want - making a million bucks, whatever. But to reach that goal, I need a procedure. A step-by-step if you will. Kerry has no clue about actual, concrete steps he would take. He is all talk, no action.
Didn't know what a loo was, thanks for clearing that up. Speaking of the loo, I need to go, had too much fiber today.
He would update his plan...
There's a bigger point to that...
There ought to be more discussion on the part of candidates with regard to the major appointments that they might make. It's a topic worth discussion... it may not matter all that much who will get the nod for secretary of education, but it sure as hell *does* matter who a candidate might pick as SecDef and SecState. Attention to these appointments doesn't get enough attention, IMHO.
Holbrooke looked weak, a girlee man. I bet you the Islamic/Facsist would love to have him as Secratary of State. This country better wake up before its too late. What I mean is that if President Bush wins by a landslide, then it would send a message to Democrats MSM, Islamic/Fascist, N. Korea, China, Russia, EU & etc that the American people stand by President Bush and give him the mandate to do what needs to be done.
I just noticed something; I just saw an old Jimmy Carter ad on TV Land. The ad said to vote for Carter for a change.
Bill Clinton also ran on "no theme" (aka 'a nebulus plan') and "change" as well.
Now, Kerry "has a plan" and is also running on "change."
Let's just hope that the American people fully understand that "change", while 'change', does not necessarily entail a positive move for the better!!!
Frankly, most of us have had enough "change." The only thing consistent about Carter, Clinton, and Kerry is that their plan will only leave you with change, in your pocket.
Lets examine Kerry's unadvertised plan (because he never talks about it but its known in the media circles):
1. Get allies to participate in the Iraq situation. France and Germany have both said in recent weeks that they won't change their mind. And if they did, the best you would get is maybe 1,500 troops each...which doesn't do anything for America.
2. Involve other middle eastern countries heavily into the situation. The Iraqis don't want anyone else from neighboring countries to show up. They are suspicious and have every right to be that way.
3. Involve the UN. If Bill Clinton does get Kofi Ananans job, which is heavily rumored now...it'll turn into a bigger UN mess.
4. Rapidly decrease troops in Iraq. Some folks think Kerry will cut 25 percent of the troop strength within 12 months of election in Iraq. And at least another 25 percent by Kerry's mid-term, with all troops gone by the next election (thus earning the peacemaker award). This can happen...except Iraq will fall into complete chaos and likely break up into four different countries (3 mostly Muslim and likely to fight each other for years).
Thats the policies that Holbrooke should have talked about.
Truth be told: Kerry has a plan, to have a plan.
oh but he IS...just ask him. IMHO, he has an extremely inflated sense of self-importance.
"Reilly: "Shouldn't Al Jeezera be expelled from the US?"
Holbrooke: "I'll leave that to the Bush Administration"
O"Reilly: "Come on Ambassador I am asking you! You might be in office and you need to think about these things"
Posted Earlier:
Bill: What would Kerry's first step be in Iraq?
Holbrooke: uh, uh Assess the situation.
Bill: Isn't Kerry assessing the situation now?
Tonight was my first night of cancelled cable. I must say I had a pleasant evening.
