Zogby: 1-day polling at 49-46, suggest undecideds may be breaking for Bush (overlooked by Reuters)
Zogby ^

Posted on 10/23/2004 10:13:39 AM PDT by hawaiian

Reuters out-and-out lied in their story, saying Bush's reelect numbers were less than the don't-reelect numbers, and didn't mention the 1-day polling. "Pollster John Zogby: Bush had a stronger single day of polling, leading Kerry 49% to 46%. For the first time, in the one-day sample Bush had a positive re-elect, 49% to the 48% who feel it's time for someone new. Also in the one-day sample, Undecideds were only 4%. Could Undecideds be breaking for Bush?"

Maybe Zogby's coming around. He wants Kerry to win but he also wants to keep his credibility.

He doesn't want to look like an a$$ when Bush wins in a landslide.

Someone on Fox just quipped that anyone who is undecided at this late date is unlikely capable of finding a place to vote let alone casting a ballot.

Don't insult those with Downs Syndrome by lumping them with those scary people we constantly see lumped together as 'undecideds' after every debate.

I was surprised to read Mort Kondracke of The McLaughlin Group series (Mort-on) is an undecided. He mentions that in an article in today's Roll Call:

Zogby may be ready to drink Jim Jones kool-aid.

This is no surprise. Zogby wrote over a month ago that the undecideds were leaning Bush by a 25 points!

Borderline? Heh, you're giving them to much credit.

They should be called stripped 'possum voters, since the only honest things that spend a lot of time in the middle of the road are dead 'possums and the yellow stripes that they died upon.

That an idiotic piece from Kondrake. Did he write this after being on an all night drunk, FGS? Good grief.

Bob Beckel on FOX said the undecideds and in a mental ward.

Not that surprising. He agrees with Bush on national security issues but his big domestic issue is medical research, especially stem cell research. His wife died a few months ago from Parkinsons and he is a board member of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson society. He does agree that Kerry is demogoging on importing drugs from Canada, realizing that would mean the death knell of medical research.

These polls fail to register the large number of undecided Democrats there will be on November 3rd. They will have to decide which flavor Kool-Aid: Guyana Grape or Strychnine Cherry.

No doubt. So-called undecideds just shouldn't vote. In fact, I'll bet most of them won't.

I 2nd the motion to rename "undecided" voters to "possum" voters. Middle of the road and died on the yellow line (color of their backbone).

Also is it true to become a DemonRat politician that they surgically remove your spine and cut off your bal.. ?

-"Oh my gosh if you are still undecided you are borderline retarded."

Didn't anyone think about these so-called "undecideds", just staying "undecided" all the way through Nov. 3rd???

Seems like if you're still "undecided", best if you just stay that way and STAY HOME NOV 2!!!!

Does anyone believe that 4% of the electorate is undecided?

What do you all think that figure even means?

I just don't see see 4 out of one hundred people in the samplings simply saying, "I haven't made up my mind yet." They would be waiting for what?

An act of God? Divine inspiration??

I just don't think that that 4% will vote at all, if it really exists.
