[history]
From the article by Guardian columnist Charlie Brooker:
"On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"

Yes, but he's a liberal/progressive/socialist/communist/whatever, so it's OK to talk about assassination.

Please be advised that I have forwarded this to the CIA and FBI.

This needs to get to the people of Ohio. They are already ticked with The Guardian for trying to influence the election. This will seal the deal for the President.

Presumably, this guy is in the UK, so I reckon he's beyond the reach of our laws.
Nevertheless, it illustrates much about the left's way of thinking.

This is the same newspaper that ran the goofy campaign for
its readers to write letters to Clark Co, OH, telling
people there to vote for Kerry.
This thread needs to have its URL posted in all future
threads about Guardian stories, so that readers have a
very clear idea about what this particular Pravda Press
outlet is all about.
This may also be a foreshadowing of what our own legacy
media may try to pull in the final days, if they think
they can turn the Kerry slide around.

Apparently this is a rant forum, Dumb Show, but sheesh,
Just like the Pie Throwers, someone can burn books before they stoop to this lowdown lampoonery, and the Guardian ran it,
Unbelievable and we'd never do such to Tony Blair,
They always want us to stay out of Euro Politics, what a load of malarky, this sets me to steaming the rest of the day.
The Brits should never allow such, never ever have something like this in one of their prominent papers.

"John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"" That does it! Time to declare The Gurdian an outlaw, terrorist organization and send The Green Berets after them. First order of business will be to blow up their ugly offices in London, hopefully with the moronic English skunk who write this piece if garbage, Charlie Brooker still at his desk, so he can go join his nasty English ancestors in hell where he belongs.

That is the most astonishing thing I have ever read in a so-called reputable newspaper.
An idiot like this writer could plant the seed in a crazed mind. What on earth was he thinking?
I hope the President's folks read this----it is a veiled threat.
I'll bet this guy wrote columns about the "vicious" treatment of the prisoners at Abu Ghraib, yet what he has done is far worse.
