There is a $2,000 individual contribution limit per election cycle, $5,000 to a Pac (See http://www.fec.gov/answers.shtml ).

It really doesn't matter how much money him or any of those other leftist liberal 527 groups have raised. There just flushing their time and money down the drain on a bad candidate, and won't have nothing to show for it when all the votes are counted on election day.

An election cycle means there are two cycles per 'election' as we know it. A primary and a general election. So it's the campaign contribution limit x 2.
