In their desperation to elect Kerry, the MSM may have overplayed their hand. That can't get away with the usual stunts these days. Not with the internet breathing down their necks.
He may not be aware of the NBC story.
woot story's on drudge now
To bad we are not going to hear a thing about this story! I do not want to be a buzzkill but that is how the media works these days!
Kerry has been trying to blame President Bush for this. Now, that it has come out the explosives disappeared before the onset of combat in Iraq, Kaptain Ketchup has egg on his face.
Here's a link to the Drudge page with the story...
That is the sound of inevitability, Mr. Kerry. The sound of
It took 3 weeks to get to Baghdad.
Drudge/NBC's punchline (not sure who to credit):
"It is not clear why the NYTIMES failed to report the cache had been missing for 18 months -- and was reportedly missing before troops even arrived."
Hoot. Of course, it's clear as can be to all of us, Drudge included... :)
ElBaradei's cover letter to the council said the HMX had been under IAEA seal and the RDX and PETN were "both subject to regular monitoring of stock levels."NBC vs AP Or could the anonymous source be Rove's plant? Inquiring minds want to know. (and yes, I was lurking at DU based upon an upthread post, when I found this.)
"The presence of these amounts was verified by the IAEA in January 2003," he said. At the Pentagon, an official who monitors developments in Iraq said U.S.-led coalition troops had searched Al-Qaqaa in the immediate aftermath of the March 2003 invasion and confirmed that the explosives, under IAEA seal since 1991, were intact. Thereafter, the site was not secured by U.S. forces, the official said, also speaking on condition of anonymity.
lol, lets see how the Great Traitor tries to spin his way out of this, squirm alert
One of Kerry's idiots is still bitching about 680 tons of missing expolsives that happened under Bush's watch. I guess he didn't get the updated message. LOL
Well then, I guess that it is up to us to get the news out.
Let the fish run awhile, the SET the hook.
That's the trick.
Yet another instance of Kerry's itchy trigger finger, and the DemoRAT lapdogs licking up lies and distortions.
Thank you, Princess. It's definitely a VERY GOOD THING that Drudge is highlighting this.
John Batchelor asked the question, "Why was Bill Clinton in that part of PA campaining today? I came in at the end. What was your impression of the meaning of that?
"Well then, I guess that it is up to us to get the news out."
Look what happened when the Blogosphere, FReepers included, took on Dan Rather. (No, that's not been adequately resolved at CBS, but it got out very quickly into the general public's consciousness that CBS lied.) The same thing can happen with this. If each one of us sent a couple emails here and there, that's a *lot* of emails.
btw, whats the website where we can watch the dems be shocked about this?
