NBCNEWS: Huge Cache of Explosives Vanished From Site in Iraq -- At Least 18 Months Ago (SIREN ALERT)
(Excerpt) Read more at drudgereport.com ...
Here comes DRUDGE with the SIREN.
Yippeee!!!
The United Nations -- John Kerry's favorite organization -- was in charge of this and they JUST TOLD US ABOUT THIS ABOUT TEN DAYS AGO!
Keep your "breaking news" update, by scanning for related posts before you submit yours.
Old news..
SFS
About time he got around to it... we've be talking about it for what? A half hour?
Just in case anyone missed that. ;^)
This perhaps explains why no one on the Bush team tried to put a positive spin on today's NYT article.
Let the fish run awhile, the SET the hook.
This was just reported by DRUDGE WITH A SIREN, I call that breaking news that it's on Drudge.
Drudge needs a better headline. He needs to make it clear that these weapons disappeared BEFORE US troops arrived on the scene.
I am shocked.
Re: your screen name.. wasn't Chico's Bail Bonds the sponsor for the Bad News Bears little league team??
And Kerry put his verbal slime on record today with his accusations of incomptetence.
NYT Motto: All the 18-month-old news that's fit to print
March 20, 2003: When we invaded
January 25, 2003: 18 months ago.
Fox News reported 400,000 tons have been destroyed. There is no evidence to the contrary that the devices in question were not included in what was destroyed or is in custody scheduled for destruction.
In any event, 380/400,000 or roughly 4/4000 = .001 or.1%
Actual Drudge headline:
"NBCNEWS: HUGE CACHE OF EXPLOSIVES VANISHED FROM SITE IN IRAQ -- AT LEAST 18 MONTHS AGO -- BEFORE TROOPS ARRIVED"
Alright Drudge! Limbaugh beat you by 10 hours. Way to be on top of breaking news....18 months old and 19 hours late!
Thank You Drudge!
Now Drudge has included "BEFORE TROOPS ARRIVED". Thanks for reading my post, Matt!
Yes, he certainly did! That's what led me to think that it was more recent than 18 months ago, and I thought that it looked pretty bad for President Bush, and that Kerry would use this to great advangage.
I should know by now that I shouldn't believe ANYTHING coming from Kerry! (Slaps self on forehead...)
oops make that 10 hrs.
I believe I hear a siren.
No...Wait...
It's just the idiots over on DU screaming and wailing and knashing their teeth!
AT LEAST 18 MONTHS AGO -- BEFORE TROOPS ARRIVED
He updated it?
Heh haven't seen the siren in a while
Poor NBC News, how can they be so damn stupid? It was neither huge (1/10th of 1% of the total seized), nor was it a cache (a hidden store, since the IAEA knew exactly where they were).
Anyone over there speakie de English?
Well, Well, Well.. Talk about a "rope a dope". Thanks Karl Rove!!
Looks like he fixed the headline -- now he just needs to add to headline NYT LIED!
Should we start taking bets on how many MSM will not bury this story
He does read FR doesn't he?
Go get 'em Matt!
Yup. The silence of the Bush campaign was instructive. Rove was waiting for the dems to take the hook and sink it deep.
The suckers took it hook, line, and sinker.
As a matter of fact, this 'huge cache' (which is neither) reminds me of 'Wonder Bread' (which is neither).
"Alright Drudge! Limbaugh beat you by 10 hours. Way to be on top of breaking news....18 months old and 19 hours late!"
The issue here isn't Drudge's speed, it's that he's giving big play to NBC blowing the NYT story out of the water tonight. This is *good* as Drudge is looked at by the MSM, etc., and the more publicity the better. Hopefully the public will realize just how much the MSM is trying to swing things to Kerry this week and support Bush all the more.
Yes, Chicos Bail Bonds sponsored the Bad News Bears!!
It is the Democrats fault for making us wait 18 months!!!!
'And Kerry put his verbal slime on record today with his accusations of incomptetence.'
Kerry obviously was relying upon his intensive experience with the Senate Intelligence Committee to help him thru this...I understand that many politicos knew about this stash and several others disappearing, but sKerry? Nah, he was too busy watching Whoopie to get Intelligence briefings, too busy to stay on top of anything but where Teresa was drinking, ...
So now why do we think Bush was so PO'ed at sKerry during the first debate?? Someday I want to see that addressed in a book by...who shall we give the honor to? I think Sean Hannitty deserves the honor, for carrying the torch so loyally.
"Yes, Chicos Bail Bonds sponsored the Bad News Bears!!"
GREAT. I can't remember what I got my husband for Christmas last year, but I can remember the baseball uniforms of a bunch of kids in a 25 year old movie.
The brain is a funny thing.
Sure it will, but not until November 3, 2004. It really is sad how pathetic the NY Times has become. It's a shame in many respects for this nation.
Just hit DU 7 minutes ago. No discussion yet.
nytnews@nytimes.com
Im really getting tired of the nytimes. Their bias is just beyond reason and belief. They function as an opposition research outfit for Kerry.
Matt, You rock....
Send NY Times editorial fraud complaints to:
retrace@nytimes.com
On the other hand, I haven't played chess in a while
Isn't this lovely! I bet you we won't hear a thing about it-(except on here and Druge)Pathetic
Gee, Kerry was carping about incompetence at letting this happen. Who was watching things at the time? Oh yeah, THE U.N.!!!!!
Thanks, my email sent off to the NYT!
Now that the MSM (print and electronic) have gotten MAXIMUM Pro-Kerry and Anti-Bush exposure out of the WP article--this new information will only get passing, back-page, MINIMAL mention!!
Hahah just was trolling over in Dummy land and they are freaking out.
