Know Your Body Shop. Body Shop Founder and executive, Anita Roddick, has some choice words to say about President Bush and his Administration in her continuing efforts to influence the US Election in Kerry's favor.
"The man is dangerous and bad for both America and the planet."
In "100 Facts About the Bush Administration" Roddick presents a list of 100 selected 'facts' compiled by The Nation which seek to diminish and discredit the Administration's record. Here's a real loaded one (#3)
"After receiving a memo from the CIA in August 2001 titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack America," President Bush continued his monthlong vacation."

The Body Shop's loud political statements have recently got them into trouble especially their outspoken support for Palestinian causes which many regard as support for PLO terrorism. A petition was written addressing this issue and asking shoppers to avoid The Body Shop.

Timing is everytbing. I wish this had been posted two weeks ago. I just had a "Body Shop @ Home" party for about 15 of my friends. I still haven't delivered all of the orders yet.
I need to contact my rep (now former rep) and let her know that I won't be doing any further business with her.
I knew that The Body Shop was a "femi-Nazi" type organization but had no idea that it went this far. Back to Mary Kay I go.
She won't be happy when she gets a good look at the comments of "support".

that was easy. sent in the petition and won't be shopping the Body Shop at all. Not only does this idiot blast Bush , she supports terrorist in Palestein. Talk about a broken moral compass. Hopefully her pocket book speaks to her next.

I have refused to shop at the Body Shop since Anita sounded off about Bush at the beginning of the Iraq War.
I stopped buying this socialist wacko's products years ago-they're not all that great anyway.
Have the press run out of new people to badmouth Bush that they have to ask some British fitness woman her opinion?
