Teresa Heinz Kerry Calls Packers Fans Drunks

She says that like it's a bad thing. In a Boston Herald article ("Kerry steeling himself for visit to Heinz territory", 1/23/2002), Teresa Heinz Kerry revealed her true feelings about the Packers loyalists. She mentioned that, at the 1996 Super Bowl, Green Bay Packer fans were "partying harder than anyone she had ever seen".
"I've never seen fans drink so much," she said.

See, the difference is, when Teh-RAY-zuh visits "Lambert Field" she doesn't pound beers from the bed of a pickup while eating barbecue like normal people. She has the clubhouse attendant get her a tall gin & rasin cocktail... and keep 'em coming! Maybe next she'll say something about the rowdiness (read: likes-to-participate-in-riots) of her dear husband's beloved Red Sox. You know, the ones he's always 'giddy' about but can never seem to remember the scores from the games...
