MSNBC Showing Video OF Alleged Explosives At Ka KA on April 18, 2003
Claims video from an reporter at site on that day. Shows drums of explosives.
I missed it.
It on right now. 8:10 pm est
Same stuff shown on ABC earlier...coordinated attack on GW last minute.
The October surprise after all. Too late to beat this now...
And their point is????
Any attack right now is a direct attack on our military--not Bush.
Don't fall for this trash.
So, Saddam had WMDs then, right?
...Can't have it both ways, MSNBC.
I thought that there were many kinds of weaponry on the CACA grounds. Do they know that what they are showing are the items in question?

Rove and the Republican leadership need to come out with a little presentation that puts this to rest once and for all. There is plenty of time, especially with the numbers that will will watch nightly news on Friday and Monday due to the election being so close.
That tape of a small amount of explosives killed our pushback. The MSM treats this tape as some kind of proof that the Times was right.
I wish we could have just let this thing die. By keeping it alive the last three days we set ourselves up for this drubbing today. What a horrible news week of old stories being re-hashed.
Showing what explosives? The tonnage that the NYT said was there and isn't now, that never existed or a few barrels labled "explosives"? It doesn't mean it's the same stuff.
I saw the video.. don't believe it identified where or when it was taken. "Independent Experts" confirmed it appeared to be RDX and HMX.
380,000 tons of explosives in drums, my that must be quite a picture
I'll tell you what a WOULDN'T do. I wouldn't walk in with no weapon, no helmet, no chem gear and then open boxes and touch the things inside.
Check this post for the pics and the post of the article by the ABC affiliate that shot the tape.
Literally, THOUSANDS of U.S. servicemen had to have seen them as well..
I haven't heard much, or ANY verification from them as of yet..
Yet more speculation for John Kerry to jump on.
Actually, 'tis too late. By now, I suspect that 97% of the voting populace has made up its mind. Second, we do not know that elements of the 101 didn't actually pick this stuff up. Recall that the original story said 350 tons? Later, we learned from the Iraqis that it was a lot less than that (3 tons is what I heard).
I believe that a lot of this stuff is being filtered out by people now. They know its the last week, and that the media has an agenda.
Chill.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Why don't you admit to being a DU troll and go back home?
I wouldn't bank on that.
A_R
You ckicked FreeRepublic.com by mistake, redirect to DU freakshow.
And maybe nobody will notice that you signed up just in time to defend the CBS' forged national guard docs.
Back to troll school you go...
How come this reporter is the only person in all the huge group of soldiers and other fellow reporters who has this footage. It also took him 4 days to come up with it. Does he have anyone to verify what this footage is?
However, I'm not surprised someone came up with some video.
It could just as well be gun powder. That and about 49 other things can classify as 1.1D exposives. Did they cut a UN seal to get into the building?
Sir, you are an idiot!
Ring Ring. It's reality calling. They want to talk to you.
Wait one: If "drums of explosives" were videotaped, they were obviously NOT INSIDE sealed bunkers.I think it is more accurate to say the reporters filmed drums, which MIGHT have been explosives.
Whatever was taped proves nothing-one way or the other.
Good old fashioned common sense seems indicated here:Removing hundreds of tons-or even 3 tons-of RDX would have involved quite some organization: workers, trucks, etc.,and would have required the use of some form of protective gear-because RDX is VERY nasty stuff !!
I can't quite see that going on while the area was swarming with combatants and aircraft were shooting up anything they could find on the roads.
Logic dictates it was moved out long before our troops arrived.
A Michael Moore production, no doubt. This is in direct contrast to the pentagon satellite photos.
I see felines in your future...
Only a low level troll would think so.
Where on these labels does it say HMX or RDX?
How do we know that these reporters even know what they are talking about? Tommy Franks says there was nothing there (via NRO's the kerry spot). Who are we going to believe, ABC or Tommy Franks and 101st Airborne/3ID?
ABC is reporting this to...is the video conclusive...could it have been doctored or something...I don't see how it is AT ALL possible that they could have been taken after we had control of it.
Here is a partial list of what can or is characterized as 1.1D. And you are right...gunpowder is on the list.
All we need to do is create an ad where Kerry was when they hoisted the US flag upside down. You don't get any more powerful of an image than that.
I've said it for the last 4 days.
This story will not convince anybody that was going to vote for Bush to abandon their decision.
What it does do, IMHO, is raise the question of Saddam's threat.
A threat that had been dismissed by Kerry and the Democrats.
If it plays to undecideds, it seems to me it would play on the level that Saddam had stockpiles of dangerous explosives, something that up to this time has not been said. All we've heard was "no WMD", but now these missing explosives being touted as so dangerous by Kerry, would reinforce the fact that Iraq needed to be invaded.
--additionall, rest assured that since we were there and documented the small cache -that we secured it and have either already destroyed it or have scheduled its destruction -I am sure the documentation will surface soon...
It's only compelling to leftwing traitors and Bush haters. If these leftist criminals keep pushing and get their civil war it will be these traitors that are put away first.
Powder. Dry.
How can any "news" service put this stuff out without taking the time to verify what it really is? Look at the title to the video "May be..." This even has you guys believing that it is actual footage of "missing explosives" that BUSH, himself, failed to guard. It's made up, it's garbage and it no more substantiates their story than the little secretary saying that Killian "felt" a certain way about Bush. Give me a break.
"Literally, THOUSANDS of U.S. servicemen had to have seen them as well..
I haven't heard much, or ANY verification from them as of yet.."
And you think ABC would ask 101st soliers anything? They are on elect Kerry mode.
This is not about the truth, its about political perceptions and convincing the last morrons to switch to Kerry. Soccer moms and college kids voting for the first time...like I said...idiots.
First of all, you have no idea what is in that barrel. Secondly, if the contents of that barrel were so dangerous, why were the Iraqis given permission to keep it and what moron gave them that permission.
Here's a clue: Baradei.
Excellent question. Also the quantity problem for alarmists. Also, the other witnesses who saw none of the really nasty stuff.
It doesn't. I merely posted the pictures of what was and is the topic of this discussion.
The fact is, it could have been gunpowder.
What independent experts say that?
How can they tell what type of explosive in the drum unless they can sample it?
