Brokaw interview with Kerry. Interesting response to military records question.
MSNBC ^ | 2004-10-28

Posted on 10/28/2004 5:52:57 PM PDT by jerod

Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.

Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

Too bad no one will call him on it, especially the Bush/Cheney team won't.

Brokaw gave kerry a softball question and suddenly found that he had him down on the mat. But of course he never followed up on it.

Like for instance, "Why isn't your record public? Why do you demand that Bush should release all his service records but hide yours?"

Amen!

I wonder . . .

perhaps we could print it on some very rough newsprint and coercively invite Brokaw to 'store it' in a . . .

dark tubular space.

This interview, from a guy who said he was concerned that the American public expected the news media to be objective, is worthless, a Kerry promotion under the guise of honest reporting by an MSM pimp.

Please check the Swiftvets.com site (forum) and check out the thread on the dishonorable discharge. it is very long, go to page 21 and start reading - sounds to me like Navy Chief could use some Freeper help. sorry no links, nothing seems to be working for me tonight.

One can safely assume that Kerry is dumber than Bush because he went to Boston College rather than Harvard or Yale. He was married to his first rich wife at the time, so he had the money, but not the brains. He is a genuine stupid idiot.

If you're not already here, the quote above should be of real interest to you and the swift boaters.

An article highlighting the contrast: "my records are all public" versus "my record is not public" will pretty well set up a call for release of original discharge papers and others.

True.

Contrast that with the time Katie Couric was interviewing Bob Dole and Dole said he didn't believe cigarettes were addictive. She questioned him again and again and the lib media browbeat him for days on this.

Why has the media no curiosity on Kerry's witholding of his military records?

Go to the link at the top of the linked MSNBC page, and watch the video; it's unbelievable that Brokaw considers himself a competent news man. Watch the NBC camera sweep to Brokaw's face for a reaction to Kerry's revelation.

Incredible!

Wouldn't that make the best last days of the campaign commercial ever.

A short appropriate intro with Kerry responding "my record is not public". That would be a total slam.

People with party connections should pass this on.

And that's why I voted for the threat of force.

But not the use of force. And in 1991 he didn't even vote to approve the threat of the use of force, after the UN voted to actually use force. Kerry is a looser. He cannot possibly win if the majority of Americans are using their brains.
