WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep. I feel the same way.
Gator '95
I'm a Bama fan but I'd like to see him back at Florida. Sure, he likes to run up the score from time to time but he always ran a clean program.
WAY, LOL, I always believed Spurrier would be back.
HEEEE'S BAAAAACK!!!!!
I FEEL GOOD!!!!(dances across the floor)
Phil Fulmer just ordered a new batch of Depends.
In the sports world, this is a forgone conclusion.
Half the team he ran out on. The other half he didn't recruit. Remember we are talking about 18 - 21 year olds who ofter wear their feelings on their sleeves.
I think this is spin. I would find it hard to believe they would fire Zook without having Spurrier in the bag on all but the details. Why go through another Mike Price or George O'Leary ordeal.
I'm not sure this was a reason to fire Zook midseason, but even if it was, what other reason was there to fire a coach midseason. You aren't going to replace him, and you risk the players quitting (figuratively) or transferring.
I think what they did to Zook was chicken$#&*. You don't lose anything by waiting until season's end. Besides, I'm here to warn you gator fans out there that the proverbial grass is always greener, and be careful what you wish for.
Not to mention that you can't go home again.
If players aren't sick to their stomach after all the losing under Zook, and if they don't want to play for Spurrier, they can all hit the road as far as I'm concerned.
It's payback time.
No. What is chickensh!t would be leaving Zook twisting in the wind until the end of the season. Also getting it out now, will help to minimize the damage to recruiting. And don't cry for Zook, they still have to pay him 2 million dollars on the final four years of his contract.
You can't even beat Zook, and you think you're going to beat Spurrier?
HA HA you got that right!!!
This is precisely why we need SOS back. We just lost the most embarrasing game since Memphis State beat us in the Swamp in 1988, and already Gator fans are swaggering again. That's what SOS brought to UF...the swagger.
Not only that. Can we say: run up the score board and revenge!! HE HE HA HA
