In 72 Nixon got 520 electoral votes to 17 for McGovern. Nixon won by almost a 25% popular vote margin that year.
i know......i was havin some fun with jeff...he is a great guy
youre right.....we should be the blue color.
But, if he loses NH (which looks likely) NM will be in place of NH, and IA wouldn't be enough to get him past losing OH. He'd need something else. Do you think he'll keep NH? What about WI, MI, and MN?
Dude you missed my sarcasm again.LOL
My daughter is in the Navy in Maine and she keeps reminding me that Maine is going to give at least one vote to Pres Bush.
What the hell. Throw Michigan and Oregon in there for Dubya, too.
You have such a positive attitude. I'm really scared. I pray you are right!
I sincerely and with all of my heart hope you are right....I'm going in the Air Force either way....but it will be a whole lot easier if I know Bush is the Commander.
I believe that there are millions of Americans who CARE about this country. Keep in mind, the mass media is vocal but does not voice the majority outlook on things.
I think because we are saturated with the leftist view, some of us think they are predominant....they are NOT.
According to the MSM, 270 to 268 will be a Kerry landslide, while Bush may squeak by 320 to 218.
I'd like to see 523 (Bush) to 15 (Kerry) - I'll give him MA (12) and DC (3).
Indeed. Well said.
If you're w/i 10 EVs, I'll buy you a case of your favorite beer.
As a good card carrying LDS (Moromon)...you'll have to make it a case of Lemonade, LOL!. Either way...knock down some cold ones for me when Bush wins!
350 EVs and I'll squeeze the lemons myself
Jeff, I hope and pray you're on the mark. Oh to have some kind of knock-out pill or something that would make me sleep through this whole day. I'm so anxious it is making me physically ill.
Well I'm here but what happend?
I was sure counting on your analysis.
We Still won though!!
Looks like we'll get 285 and that, coupled with the popular vote is enough.
Sorry I was not on yesterday and cannot linger today...I'm at an off-site work area and only have limited access in the off hours...and then very little.
