[World News]: London, Oct 30: He might have recovered from his recent quadruple heart bypass surgery, but former President Bill Clinton's illness is more than what meets the eye.
According to the National Enquirer, he may have suffered permanent brain damage due to the surgery. He has also been battling a deadly blood infection.
Insiders say that he is weak and suffering memory lapses. Doctors have given him blood thinners to prevent blood clots, antibiotics to treat his deadly infection and tranquilizers to calm his anxiety, say friends.
"Recovering from heart surgery has been a far more painful and miserable process for Bill than he's let on publicly. He's had a blood infection which doctors have been secretly treating," an insider was quoted as saying.
Brain damage fears were raised a month into Clinton's recuperation when he failed to recognize a Secret Service agent who has been with him since 2001, according to a source. (ANI)
AIDS???
Everyone's on meds after surgery
Does the brain damage explain his endorsement of Kerry?
This article uses the National Enquirer as it's source.
He'd endorse whomsoever Kim Ill-Son (sic) wanted.
A lot of bypass/coronary surgery patients wind up with these problems.
It is beyond cruel for the DNC to drag this extremely ill man all over hell's half-acre "campaigning".
You'd think they'd at least extend a little a mercy to their "king".
Hahaha National Enquirer
See how GOD works this evil man got his ten fold Im sure he also lost all his sex drive that alone will kill him!!!!!!!!
Uh, pretty much everybody is on blood thinner and antibiotics after heart surgery.
FWIW, and from what I understand, some folks who've been on the heart-lung machine can suffer some cognitive impairment after surgery. I recently heard of a study that suggest in many of the cases the effect was temporary, disappearing after a few months.
He shares the same disease as Al Gore's... without having to drink ice-tea too much.
My son just had the same surgery, developed an infection in his leg where they harvested a vein, was set back a week, is on antibiotics and I think this is gossip.
That was not brain damage, it was a snub. Everyone know the Clintons hate the secret service. They certainly don't recognize policeman that are hurt during their motorcades.
Sometimes THOSE TYPES OF SOURCES are the only ones willing to tell the truth.
This is BS
You think the NYT is any better?
Clinton and Arafat both having some type of blood disorder at about the same time. hmmmmm
What's up guys? This is the second "Tin Foil alert" post I have seen this morning. He just had major heart surgery with known complications as described. Nothing to see here, move along...
How about the fact slick has been treated for herpes for years on end now.
He can do it.
There is probably some memory loss because of the surgery --- the anesthesia has a different effect on people, and anesthesiologists (and our doctors) do not do a good job of testing surgery patients for who is tolerant of what.
Yet, Bill can beat it by getting into motion, resting, eating right, rinse and repeat.
You have to train your body out of it, the surgery and its effects; can take years.
Heart patients especially, must do the exercises.
Gets the resistance back up there.
Well, lets see here.
He often forgot he was married.
He doesn't know what the meaning of "is" is.
He can't recall if he was alone while getting oral sex.
Nor does he know if oral sex really IS sex. (Back to the "is" thing again).
Nope, same ole'Bubba. I see no change......
Or maybe SeeBS and Dan Blather.
The sex drive will always be there, but the wee willie won't ever become the left leaning, medium sized willie again.
Unless he uses Viagra of course.
Ofcourse. And anyone that has heart surgery goes thru a period of Memory problems. Usually recover in month or so. As much as I can't stand THE THING, I don't think drumming up sympathy for him is a good idea. Especially when it is not warranted.
tabloid bs
You'd think they'd at least extend a little a mercy to their "king".
I'm no fan of the DNC but I think I may agree with Dick Morris' assessment of this one, that they didn't drag Bill out. He thinks it is B. Clinton himself who was eager to get out on the campaign trail, not so much because he wants Kerry to win (Morris believes he does not), but because Bill has a "need" to be in the spotlight. Morris said the former president would actually be more likely to recover better in the spotlight than tucked away in his home. Sounds about right to me.
Then Clinton's just an egocentric, attention-starved idiot....:))
BTW, the one beatitude that gets me in a lot of trouble is the "Blessed are the merciful" one.
I keep extending mercy to people that I probably really shouldn't....;))
Quoting the National Enquirer reminds me of the time in 2002 that the Beijing Evening News picked up a story from "The Onion" about Congress building a new venue ala a major league baseball team building a new stadium, with "more bathrooms and better sight lines, worthy of a world-class legislative body."
"How art thou fallen from Heaven, Oh, Lucifer, son of the morning."
ABSOLUTELY
As much as I hate to give the bent one any semblance of a pass, I underwent a CABG in 1996 and can attest to memory loss, some short term, and some longer term, which lasted up to two years for certain details. My understanding is that while some loss may have been due to the anesthesia, most was caused by being on the heart-lung machine during the operation.
It was quite frustrating trying to remember things that just did not want to return, but hey, it sure beat the alternative.
He's actually looking thinner and better than he has in a long time. That said, he is still a disgusting old man.
How would a paper in India know this?
Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy.
AIDS???
A blood infection has finally got an upperhand on a bleeding heart liberal.
There really is no cure for what is essentially a mental disorder.
At least she hasn't blown his brains out yet.
That Hillary. As soon as people proove they're of no further value to her she bumps them off.
You should know from watching the movie "Men In Black" that U. S. Government agencies get most of their information from reading National Enquirer.
Or the AP or Reuters?
Whatever. . . I have a friend who had open-heart surgery on almost the same day as WJC and she's not back to normal yet but mentally astute enough to play Bridge all day. . . duplicate, that is, and win. Possible his side-effects are from something other than the surgery.

This is ONE time the Enquirer is right. It is a well-studied issue. Here's a citation from the Medline:

The sycophant NYC councilman who was calling Hillary "Foxy Lady" is rejoicing and the prospect of Slick's demise.
You mean Kim Jong-il, pornographer in chief of the PDRK. Kim Il-sung, his daddy, is dead.
My wife works as a cardio-thorasic nurse and most of her patients are up and about long before this creep was.
Hook him and Arafat together and see if we can cure two ills at once :->
