Bin Laden awards Sweden the "Al Qaeda Appeasement Prize"

Posted on 10/30/2004 4:55:22 AM PDT by AndyPH

Much excitement and no small amount of pride amongst some in Sweden that Bin Laden endorses Swedish foreign policy in his latest video rant.

"Security is an important pillar of human life. Free people do not relinquish their security. This is contrary to Bush's claim that we hate freedom.

Let him tell us why we did not strike Sweden, for example. "

President Bush doesn't have to explain why al Qaeda didn't strike Sweden (although there were Swedish victims on 9/11 and in Bali) - why would a terrorist strike one of its foremost appeasers? Sweden's socialist/communist government, Israel's most vitriolic critic, Arafat's and Hamas's best ally, apologist and sponsor for terrorism the World over has well and truly earnt this prize.

Hard luck Kerry - perhaps you'll win next year.

I've read somewhere that they expect Sweden to be Islamic by 2050. According to some publications, Muslims already control Sweden's third largest city, Malmo. They say even the Sweden police are afraid to go into the main Muslim section of Malmo.

If Kerry wins, bin Laden will be presenting the next award to Kerry.

Yep, the situation in Malmö is pretty bad, not that you'd get that impression reading the Swedish media. The government here has welcomed all sorts of islamic scum for many years and now doesn't know what to do about it. The socialist/communists have taken the natural tolerance and hospitatlity of the Swedish people and sold it cheap.

In other words, "Give up and become a non-entity on the world scene, and we will leave you alone"
Only socialists (liberals) will buy that rhetoric.
Bush by a landslide.

From Dhimmi Watch

http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/003436.php

Sweden’s anti-hate speech laws have run amok, leading to a very worrying series of convictions—and non-convictions. More categories of people are entering the ranks of the “protected classes”—and recent cases have made it clear that these laws will not be enforced even-handedly.
No prize for guessing who is protected and who is not....

Needless to say, Swedish laws prohibiting "hate speech" against racial minorities have been vigorously enforced. There have, for example, been a number of gang-rapes of Swedish women by Muslim immigrants. But Swedes must be careful what they say about them. On May 25, neo-Nazi Bjorn Bjorkqvist was convicted and sentenced to two months in prison for writing, "I don’t think I am alone in feeling sick when reading about how Swedish girls are raped by immigrant hordes." ["Jag tror inte jag är ensam om att må dåligt när jag läser om hur svenska tjejer har våldtagits av invandrarhorder"]

In another recent case, a man living in the Bunkeflo neighborhood of Malmo sent an e-mail message to public officials saying he believed most Arabs were criminals, and that he opposed subsidies for them to move into his neighborhood. "Bunkeflo," he wrote, "was one of the last few refuges in Malmo where you could go out and not see Arabs loitering all around you."

This man managed to avoid prison—but had to pay a fine of 10 percent of his pre-tax income. Given Sweden’s high taxation rate, this represented a figure of close to 20 percent of his actual income.

But the most spectacular case so far—and one completely ignored by American media—is that of Swedish feminist Joanna Rytel. [Send her mail.]

Earlier this year, she wrote an article called "I Will Never Give Birth to a White Man," for a major Swedish daily, Aftonbladet. [Jag tänker aldrig föda en vit man, April 11, 2004]

Rytel explained why she hates white men—they are selfish, exploitative, vain, and sex-crazed—and just to make things clear, she added, "no white men, please… I just puke on them, thank you very much."["Dom spyr jag bara på, tack."]

She wrote that other than the women’s restroom, she can find peace only in the segregated women's prayer room in the mosque in central Stockholm: "At least Muslim men don’t mind that women have their own community in peace and quiet." She added that she might let a white man follow her home, but only because "I can have someone to talk with all night long about my hatred towards white men."

Members of the Swedish National Socialist Front—an admittedly neo-Nazi group—called the article to the attention of the Stockholm authorities. But they refused to indict Miss Rytel. In a letter dated April 19, prosecutor Göran Lambertz explained why:

"The purpose behind the law against incitement of ethnic hatred was to ensure legal protection for minority groups of different compositions and followers of different religions. Cases where people express themselves in a critical or derogatory way about men of ethnic Swedish background were not intended to be included in this law. Because of that, the content in this article cannot be considered incitement of ethnic hatred."

"The socialist/communists have taken the natural tolerance and hospitatlity of the Swedish people and sold it cheap."

As I said years and years ago, if only the Scandanavians would get over this peace/love/sex crap and become once again the war mongers they used to be, the world would be a better place.

Gosh... I cannot believe that there are people who believe such thing in this world....

I have a great idea. We should deport Muslims to Sweden and take back Swedes who want to live in the U.S. Even though the Swedes hate us now, they will not have much of a choice when the Muslims gain control of this once great people.

That is the problem with the "tolerant" it is their religion. They express their religion with the secular piety of tolerance. They believe they are immuned from bad consequences because their intentions are good. Fools. They will cry for freedom like france did and will have others save their ass. Then later feel bitterness and resentment for not being able to do it themselves.

If you were to believe all the leftist Swedish media says you would think Swedish people are around 85% behind Kerry. Personally I think the true figure is nearer to 65% i.e. there are many people here who support Bush but feel too intimidated to say so.

Your thoughts were echoed by a caller to Swedish state radio who complained that multiculturalism had becone a "state religion" and that anyone who raised any reasonable objection was shouted down as "racist" or "Nazi". I'm sure I heard the presenter mutter "damned heretic" as he cut the caller off.

I'm willing to tolerate any religion provided it, in-turn, tolerates others. I'm willing to respect other cultures provided we also respect our own.

thats the thing secular piety is more fanatical and zealous than most religions. Although they would never believe it. As GK chesterton said.
" When you stop believing in God it's not that you believe in nothing, it is that you will believe in anything...."

Surprisingly, in a Dagens Nyheter (or Svenska Dagbladet, I forget which one) on-line poll about a week ago President Bush won quite handsomely on the question who do you think will win the US election.

This despite all the terrible propaganda in Swedish MSM. It is like having a digest of ABCBSNBCNN, Los Angeles Times, NYT and Washington Post.
