If Kerry endorses anything, then it was probably a horrific mistake. Fortunately, Kerry was only pandering at a time when the war was popular, and was secretly pulling for a US defeat, as he always does. He has more recently shown his true colors: disrespect for our CIC, Gen. Franks, the Northern Alliance, and our troops.
