Sen. John Kerry has taken a slender lead over President Bush in Iowa as the 2004 presidential race nears the finish line.

The most accurate poll is from Mason-Dixon, who have Bush up by FIVE.
Iowa is Bush Country.
So is Ohio, Florida, and Wisconsin.
Kerry can have the other socialist outposts, as far as I'm concerned.
More trash from the Des Moines Red Register.
The DM Register is as leftist as the Minneapolis Star& Sickle Tribune BUT... they weren't far off in 2000. I'm convinced however, that the MSM are sacrificing their credibility this time around.
A Des Moines Register poll, conducted 10/30-11/3/00, surveyed 805 likely Iowa voters; margin of error +/- 3.5% (release, 11/5).
General Election Matchup
All
Gore 44%
Bush 42
Nader 3
Buchanan 1
Undec. 10

Kerry's CPR is in full weekend swing...
CPR = Communist Propaganda Rag
I've been watching Register polls for over 3 decades. They ALWAYS have repubs lower than what the reality is. If they show Bush 3 down, I'll predict he'll win by 5% or more.
They are trying to sway the election. I am working a Bush/Cheney phone bank this afternoon in Des Moines. I tis the first opportunity I have had to do so and I am chomping at the bit.
The MSM has one over-riding strategy in this election: keep the perception that Kerry is close until election day.
