but this petition nonesense makes us look silly
I wanted to say that very thing in my earlier post-- I just couldn't find a kind way to say it. [I don't have my asbestos underwear on, either.]

You are letting your emotions be your guide. Bad policy.

After being pent up for over thirty years I guess there is alot of people releasing these emotions on Kerry, both in the Voting Booth and in the petition.

I agree with you. If (God forbid) Kerry wins, he'll sink the ship. Good news is, that will sink the Dems for a long time... but this petition nonesense makes us look silly. It's hard enough supporting Bush with all these brainwashed hippies throwing their jargon at me, but I don't need them to bring this up at the water cooler too.

Kerry is clearly a traitor. If Kerry isn't a traitor then the word ought be stricken from the dictionaries because it applies to no one.

It is not nonsense for Americans to insist that the Constitution not be ignored.

You sound like you have difficulty with your conservatism if hippies throwing jargon at you makes it hard for you to support Bush.

"Yawn. So many kooks, so little time."

I'm not sure what you mean by that....are you refering to the poster? At least the poster is attempting to do SOMETHING. This petition had over 160,000 signatures on it when I signed weeks ago. It CAN'T hurt. Silence is consent.

Remember, if Kerry loses, he's still in the Senate. He needs to be gone from there, too!

You may be bumping up against the constitution. If Kerry was already court-martialed for treason, double jeopardy may apply. I'm not a legal person and am not sure if military courts are recognized by civilian courts in this type of situation.

In either case if Kerry received a pardon from a president it cannot be reversed.

Try selling that cute little line to the POW's from Vietnam, whose bodies don't work quite the way God intended them to, because of a few extra years of torture courtesy of john kerry.....American traitor.

All Vietnam Vets were given amnesty by Newly elected President Jimmy (smells more every day)Carter. However it would take a pardon AFTER conviction, to excuse warcrimes or false testimony to the Congress. I don't know that Bush would give it?
