I believe all of these constituional amendments should be addressed by the legislature. If this keeps up, our constitution will be end up being five hundred pages long.
I'm in CA, welcome to our nightmare, although it's sometimes the only way the people can over rule the socialist legislators in this state.
We have more than you on this ballot, as is the case almost every election now.
Anyone with some money can but the signatures needed.
The #1 user of this method lately is the Indian tribes, re gambling initiatives.
Normally, Normal4me, I'd agree with you. Amendment number one, however, dealing with parental notification before a minor can receive an abortion, was passed by the legislature and signed by Jeb.
It was subsequently struck down as a violation of the Florida Constitution (it passed the U.S. Constitutional muster).
The Florida Constitution, therefore, must be amended if you believe in a parent's right to know before a minor has an abortion.
Thanks. This is an excellent guide.
I would like to see all these things addressed by the legislature, but I know #1 has been addressed several times, and just keeps getting overruled by proabortion liberal courts.
