I'm tired of trying to refute liberals' claims against George Bush and the U.S. with discussions based on logic. They don't listen.
We need a list of quick and easy one-liners that can get to the core of the issue and silence the liberals, or at least give them something to think about.
Here are a few liberalisms (in quotes) with a one-line rebuttal to each. Please add yours to the list.
"Bush started this war."
No, the terrorists did.
"It's like Japan attacked America, and then America attacked Mexico."
No, it's like Japan attacked the U.S., and the U.S. attacked Japan and Germany.
"Kerry will only tax the rich."
Consider yourself rich.
(Kerry thinks you are rich but he isn't.)
"Kerry is a war hero."
That's what the Communists in Vietnam are saying.
"It's my right to vote."
You have a right to vote one time, in one place, and only for yourself.
"kerry will only tax the rich"
Kerry and his wife ARE rich and pay about a 12% to 15% tax rate.
Why does he pay a smaller percentage than someone making $60,000 a year????
A great way to frustrate a liberal is to tell them God is guiding President Bush.
"So was Benedict Arnold."
(And Benedict Arnold actually really was a war hero)
How can Kerry claim to be a Catholic and openly defy the Pope?
If they show even a moment's hesitation, I follow it up with a series of questions. How much is "too much?" Says who? Why? Where did you get the right to point at other people and say, "I'm offended by how much you earn. I want to take it from you."?

When this one comes up, remind the liberal that after Japan attacked America, the first country that America attacked was Morroco beginning the North African campaign. Our enemies then and now were alliances that had weaknesses to be exploited. That's strategerie.
Actually if you let a liberal talk long enough, you can easily get them to make a false or uterly stupid comment; since most of their comments are not based on logic or truth to begin with. Then you can look at them with pity give a little laugh and say, "I hope you don't truly believe that." They will either shut up, or start shouting even more ludicrous statements that will make even the most die hard liberal walk away in embarrasment. It's really great to do in a place like a College Library where they are supposed to keep their voices down. Get's em barred from the Library for a while. HEHE

Me: Holy cripes. Don't you think they'd have buses listed in their catalog if they made 'em?!? Geesh! How about you contact Dell and ask THEM if they make buses?

L: Not only are you a mean intolerant person, but I know that XP-windows on Dell buses have superior diopter and clarity, making the scenery o so lovely as you ride along...

My brother-in-law. So-called intellectual and writer of myriad books, some of which have been bestsellers internationally, said the above to me when I bested him in an on-line debate. They can't and won't listen to logic (hello DU). FIND ME ONE LIBERAL OTHER THAN ALAN COLMES (sp?) WHO WILL ENGAGE IN DEBATE WITH A CONSERVATIVE. I am ready willing and able to debate that person.
He/she doesn't exist. Why do you think people like Hillary never go on talk shows?
Can someone please point me to a thread that debunks the "Bush got illegally selected as president" canard.
Any references to problems with the absentee military votes in Florida during 2000 would also be helpful.
