You know, I really hate to do this, but I don't know how to post a "vanity," and so have to interrupt this discourse.

Freerepublic seems to be operating v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y this morning and early afternoon; all other websites come up with the click of the mouse, but here, one has to repeatedly click, and sometimes that does not work.

In fact, to log in, I had to type the address of the log-in site on the address bar, so as to even get this far.

Anyone else having this problem?

Sorry to little too late. While I think "W" will win by 5 or six points it would have been nice for proof of Kerry's less than honorable discharge to come out last week. Chief got everyone stirred up about this last week and did not deliver. Why would I think he could tonight?
