I have included leaners and percentage of "certain voters" in parentheses.
Florida Bush 51 (97% certain) Kerry 47 (89%)
Michigan Bush 46 (99%) Kerry 50 (89%)
Minnesota Bush 48 (94%) Kerry 50 (91%)
Ohio Bush 52 (91%) Kerry 46 (90%)
Pennsylvania Bush 48 (94%) Kerry 50 (92%)
Pray he's right this time.
isnt this the same guy tha had bush in a landslide in 2000?
He is right, only he missed it on Pennsylvania, they are voting for BUSH!
This election might turn out to be Rasmussen v. Zogby... Scotty has been solid for us on the talk shows despite a lot of criticism from Freepers...
I just can't see PA going for Kerry - I will wait and see - knowing I could be wrong - ()
Am I missing something, or doesn't this mean that Bush is leading among certain voters in Michigan? I ask because the final vote usually follows certain voters. But, then, implausibly, doesn't it mean that Mich. Dems are TEN TIMES more likely to be not certain voters?
I think Rasmussen has been close and cautious all year long. Probably overcompensating. I trusted him when he had Kerry slightly ahead in OH a few weeks ago and I trust him now.
I was in Pittsburg before the election in 2000 and this one and we are way ahead of where we were in 2000. PA is a dead heat.
Yup...indeed he was. I remember he had Bush up by 10.
I am more than willing to take the same results that happened in 2000.
Though I feel that W will pick up a few Gore states and only lose NH.
I t looks like only 89% of Kerry voters are certain they will vote for Kerry.
I think Michigan will surprise a lot of people tomorrow.
Justa observation: Where have they been hiding the Silky Pony for the last few weeks?
I can, especially when 95% of registered voters in Philly show up to vote.
Considering he was off by nine percentage points in 2000... how could he get any worse?
Thanks, as I thought I was going crazy thinking PA shouldn't be that easy for Kerry to take -
I know PA is like OH, and has had a bad few years - because of many reasons - but the folks in the state have "common sense" and I'm still counting on that to hold up, no matter what - (grin)
I guess we will know pretty soon -
The PA Bush/Cheney volunteers are feeling good about our chances to take PA. But in any case, we've done our best to push forward the cause.
That was me.
I went over to visit my parents today and the same question came up. Then my mother said, "Can you imagine where we'll be if Kerry gets elected and something happens to him?"
Excellent! All Bush needs is Ohio and Florida and the election is over.
