Sensational: Convicted Terrorist Alamoudi and CNN Prove Bush Right With Iraq/Al Qaeda Connection!

Posted on 11/01/2004 5:48:04 PM PST by xzins

Convicted Terrorist Abdurahman Alamoudi, Al Qaeda, and Iraq were all at the same Anti-US, Anti-Israel CONFERENCE in Beirut, Lebanon in early 2001! Alamoudi's attendance at this meeting was part of the US government case that convicted Alamoudi in October on terrorism charges.

Testimony by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent Brent Guntrum specifies Alamoudi's transaction with international terrorism to include the following:

38. According to a Jerusalem Post article, dated June 22, 2001, Alamoudi participated in a Beirut Conference in January 2001 alongside leaders of Hamas , Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and al- Qaeda. A communique issued by the conference called for a boycott on American and Israeli products, stating: "America today is a second Israel."http://www.4law.co.il/Lea275z400.htm

Use of this testimony in the trial CONVICTING Alamoudi combines with the report of Andrea Koppel of CNN in February of 2001 about this very same meeting mentioned by Special Agent Guntrum.

This February 2001 article was put out by CNN only 20 days after President Bush took office and 7 months BEFORE 9/11. Highlighted below is CNN ace reporter, Andrea Koppel, testifying in February 2001 to an ANTI-US CONFERENCE attended by AL-QAEDA AND IRAQ!!

Sensationally, observers clearly sensed a dangerous combining of these terrorist organizations with Iraq itself....State Sponsorship of Terrorism.

There is no doubt of an Iraq/Al Qaeda connection at the conference. Given the nature of Iraq and Al Qaeda, it is reasonable to see Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden behind the scenes!

Anti-U.S., anti-Israeli groups meet in Beirut, U.S. says http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/02/12/terror.meeting/

From CNN State Department Correspondent Andrea Koppel

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. officials are eyeing the January meeting of several anti-Israeli and anti-American militant groups in Beirut, U.S. sources told CNN.

A number of groups that U.S. officials consider the most dangerous were represented at the Beirut conference, including Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida organization; Hamas; Hezbollah; and the Islamic Jihad, U.S. officials said.

All of the groups have claimed responsibility in the past for attacks on American and Israeli targets.

One State Department official called the Beirut meeting a "cause for concern" but cautioned it "doesn't indicate that we (the United States) should expect a rash of coordinated activity."

Another reason for concern, officials say, was the presence of representatives from Iran and Iraq.

Since the Palestinian intifada began last September, Iran in particular has "stepped up its terrorist activity ... and stepped up its planning" for terrorist attacks," explained one U.S. official.

U.S. officials indicate that Iran is not only providing money, weaponry and training to Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon, but they said there has also been a "marked increase" in Iranian support for terrorist activity in Jordan, Syria, the West Bank and Gaza.

One administration source said the terrorist meeting in Beirut and Iran's stepped-up activity confirm the administration's fears about the potential for the Mideast peace process to "come off the rails." Another administration source said Iran is "trying to capitalize" on sentiment within the Arab world that the Israeli-Palestinian peace process was a mistake.

"They sense an opportunity ... to create a bloc of 'rejectionist' states to oppose the U.S., Israel and moderate Arab states," the official said. ....

Of course he was.

we went after Saddam with more intelligence pointing to him as a threat than we had on al Qaeda before they attacked us. That's the bottom line. Quoting from David Kay's testimony(at http://www.cia.gov/cia/public_affairs/speeches/2003/david_kay_10022003.html ): "EVEN THE BULKIEST MATERIALS WE ARE SEARCHING FOR, IN THE QUANTITIES WE WOULD EXPECT TO FIND, CAN BE CONCEALED IN SPACES NOT MUCH LARGER THAN A TWO CAR GARAGE"

Colin Powell testified before the war: "Less than a pinch of ricin" causes "shock followed by circulatory failure. Death comes within 72 hours and there is no antidote, there is no cure. It is fatal."

Iraq provided al Qaeda with wmd expertise and technology in the 1990s. The 911 Commission, Richard Clarke and Clinton knew about it. Election amnesia prevents the lib media from reminding people on this.

the president won the argument when he said "Imagine those 19 hijackers with other weapons and other plans [...] It would take one vial, one canister, one crate slipped into this country to bring a day of horror like none we have ever known. [...] Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent."

Course he was right, though it's cool to find this kind of validation from this particular source. Is she related to Ted or is the name just a coinkydink?

Kerry says that we now know there were no connections between Al Qaeda and Iraq.

He must not have read the Senate Intelligence Committee Report or the 9/11 Commission Report, both of which cited the many connections between Iraq and AQ.

An Iraqi national attended at least one pre planning 9/11 meeting with AQ.

Saddam knew 9/11 was coming and where we were going to be hit.

Even the Clinton Justice Department was able to obtain an indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties to Iraq.

A federal judge has granted two 9/11 families a multi-million dollar judgement - against Iraq.

During the 90's, the mainstream press wrote about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden. Old Media thinks we can't look these things up.

Andrea Koppel is Ted's daughter.

She didn't fall far from the tree, which is a willow and bends with the wind.

CNN proving the case made this especially delicious. Knowing she's Ted's daughter makes it even better.

And even if they couldn't find a connection with 9/11, go back to 1995 to the Oklahoma City bombing. I read some very startling info connecting Iraq with Terry Nichols. So never at any point did I think we weren't justified in going in there, something that wimpy Clinton should have done. Does anyone else think it strange how quickly Timothy McVeigh was convicted and executed? My stepson was in Iraq for six months and I'm very proud of him. He said they received them very cheerfully. Those poor Iraqis being oppressed for so long are now free of Saddam (spelled backward maddas). Now all we have to do is take out some terrorists (insurgents). I call them as I see them.

* Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi : Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi, a Board member of the American Muslim Council, and co-founder of The American Muslim Armed Forces and Veterans' Affairs Council, was arrested on as-yet-unspecified criminal charges at Dulles International Airport, after returning from London.
The American Muslim Council has been under investigation for furnishing money to terrorism, and the Veterans' Affairs Council, which helps the US military select Muslim chaplains, has become part of a broadening probe into the activities of Muslim service members at Guantanamo Bay, and elsewhere.
Al-Amoudi was identified in a 1996 Wall Street Journal article as a member of Hamas, and that had collected funds for the defense of one of the accused World Trade Center bombers. Nonetheless, according to author Steven Emerson,Hillary Clinton "worked closely with al-Amoudi".
The close relationship between the Clintons and al-Amoudi was traced back to 1995,when al-Amoudi was appointed a "Good Will Ambassador" to the Middle East. Once overseas, al-Amoudi was quoted as being thankful he could now speak freely, and he engaged in violent anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric. Despite this, the Clinton administration gave him high marks.
The "close relationship" with Hillary Clinton seems to have continued. In June 2000,the American Muslim Council donated $ 50,000. to Mrs. Clinton's senatorial campaign, and al-Amoudi added his own personal contribution of $ 1000.
The American Muslim Council donation was reported to the Federal Election Commisssion as a gift from "The American Museum Commission".When the discrepancy came to light, the Clinton campaign claimed the false entry was a "typographical error"; and eventually, the contribution was returned.
Al-Amoudi came to attention again on 6/26/01, after being arrested during an anti-Sharon protest at the White House.
On 9/11/01,while the United States was reeling from the attacks of violent Muslims,al-Amoudi was one of several influential Muslims who rushed sizeable contributions to the Cynthia Mc Kinney for Congress campaign: earning her lone opposition to American retaliation.
You may have read posts containing part of this information. I urge you to pass the WHOLE story along !
