I don't see one empty seat. I heard that SKerry was at a rally and there were only around 2000.
That is a $1,400 camera!! The pictures were well worth it.
Monitor, great shots...thanks for posting them...how do you shoot indoors with heavy spotlights like that? I was much farther away, but most of my zoom shots were blurry.
Shooting outdoors at a Packer game, I can sometimes get the wrinkles in Mike Sherman's face from 150 feet away....but indoors with bright lights is a problem.
Any thoughts?
He's from a conservative county, so it's not a surprise to see he's supporting the Republicans. According to a radio ad that has been running, Congressman Sensennbrenner helped him defend his claim to his medal.
Almost 2 W's up there in back. A Double Dubya!
...AND IT SAYS "WIN"!!!!
I thought everyone wore cheesegear. ;o) Heads, hats, ties, butts, earrings, you think you've seen them all & they come out with something else. lol
Beautiful! Wisconsin for W!! Sorry to be ignorant, but who is that darling young man in the first picture? I'm going to feel really silly if it's someone I should know. I went to school in Milwaukee (UWM).
"You were a great first lady, btw!"
Thanks! My "Dear Friend" was a great prez!
First of all, I used a relatively fast zoom lens - f4. They make them faster than that, but they're really expensive.
Then I cranked up the ISO sensitivity to 800.
And last, I braced my camera, held reeeeeal still, and squeezed the trigger (shutter) ever so gently.
It also helps that I was but 15 feet from the podium.
A double Dubya torn apart and re-arranged to spell out "WIN" which is why I included it in the photo.
Thanks for the great pics. I can't tell you how much I'd love to be there.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GET OUT THE VOTE! RE-ELECT THE PRESIDENT!
I'll give you a hint. He was in the olympics.
Ok, two hints. Gymnastics.
Ok, three. He has a twin brother that was also in the olympics, and also competed in gymnastics.
Cool, which is why I posted it here, and in the Canteen already.
Thanks!
On Wisconsin, On Wisconsin, plunge right through that line.
The following man, Rick Graber, Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman, deserves special mention, for being one of the very few Republicans with a set of brass balls, and the will to use them.
Thank you for sharing the pictures. They look great. Love seeing big crowd supporting President Bush.
Very cool, and WIN is the beginning and end of WisconsIN. W Will Win Wisconsin. (quadruple W for a big win!) I LOVE WISCONSIN!!
I told you I'd feel really silly. Thanks!
I'll say it again, Thank you to all who get these pics and share them with us! You motivate me and get me excited about our GREAT President!
