Break out the hose and sprinklers.
I would call the police. He is trespassing.
Call the police.
Photograph or video it. Then call the police.
Call the Police
Call the Republican headquarters in your town. And or call the Voting Commission in your town.
It is illegal to set up candidate or party literature within a certain number of feet of a voting location.
In our state, it is 200 feet.
Don't let them get away with this; I'll bet they are there illegally.
Yeah, sprinklers or hosing them down is a good idea, actually. If that isn't doable, then call the cops. Say they've been harassing voters.
They aren't (technically) with any party or campaign. They have absolutely no right to be on your property.
It's time to wash down your parking lot with a hose. That stubborn spot of oil just won't come off that one area.
tell them to take their partialbirthabortion selves and beat it ... or put up a freerepublic.com sign
Call the cops!!
If he is there and you don't want him there, I would suggest that you instruct him that he is tresspassing and possibly engaged in illegal activities.
I'd tell him, Please remove yourself or the law will be called and at the very least you will be removed and prosecuted for tresspass.
If he doesn't. Call the law and tell them you want him removed immediately for tresspassing.
When the Crypts and the Bloods faced off with one group in my yard, I turned on the sprinklers and the whole thing went away.
If you don't have sprinklers, call the police and have them removed from your property.
Call the police. He is not a authorized poll observer and may be intimidating voters. You are tacitly agreeing to his behavior by allowing him to use your property.
Go to the Gymnasium and open the equipment room, pick out a baseball bat that feels comfortable in your hands and hold it over your shoulder when you tell the Cretan to leave your property :-)
Smithers, release the hounds!
They have no right to be on your property...call the cops and have them removed. If they are not affiliated with any party then they are bonifide trespassers.
In North Carolina, the owners of private property used as voting pricincts have the right to forbid campaigning on their property. For example, we put up signs at schools, but not churches.
Tell him to move to public property.
It's a setup!
Have the children play outside screaming and yelling and running and bumping and throwing balls.
To the best of my knowledge, only representatives of the repsective political party are allowed to be there. I don't think 527's count. They are probably trespassing. Call your local republicah HQ
You're at a Christian school? Easy answer. Go out and start reading the Gospel of John. He'll be gone by Chapter 2.
Even though your Christian school is priavte property, when you opened it up tom become a public polling place you gave up your right to privacy. As long as the moveon goons stay at least 100 feet away from the polls, they are legal, at least on electiuon day at a public polling place. If they show up tomorrow, shoot them.
BTW, this is in Pittsburgh.
Unleash the hounds!
..with bees in their mouths, so when they bark bees come out!
bump
Get a camera. They hate having their picture taken.
LOL! Yeah, that would settle it real fast......
Call the police. They are tresspassing.
were they wearing red armbands? At my polling place, a MoveOn Pac person was there wearing a red armband.
The Move On folks were set up right inside our polling place in Maine. They had about 10 volunteers grinning from ear to ear. Sick.
I'm a little worried about Maine. Recent polls are not good.
Want me to come by and have a little 'talk' with them?
Got approached by a Pooponamerica pac type on my way into my polling place this morning... he asked me if I had been contacted by POOPON (american).org this week.
I simply responded, "No, and if I had I would have told them to go to hell".
I wanted to call him on his knowlege of terrorist events, see if he could tell me how many people were killed in the Beirut bombings, how many died on Pan Am 103, how many people were on the Aquilli Largo (sp) and how many were killed, how many people did terrorists kill in the 72 olympics... how many were killed on the USS COLE, how many were killed in the Embassy bombings in Africa... How many died in the first WTC attacks? etc etc etc.... I know the little moron wouldn't have known any of it... and then simply tell him if you don't even have a remote clue on what the toll terrorists have brought, don't talk to me about the 1000 soldiers who have died in Iraq. You are an ignorant schill. But I had to get to work, so i didn't.
However on my way out of the polling place, word had spread about what I had told him I guess, because everyone there that was working or handing out republican stuff made sure to tell me thank you and have a good day and drive safe with big smiles on their faces.
Tell him you're calling the cops to have him arrested for trespassing, unless of course, Mr Soros wouldn't mind paying $10,000 rent/day for the use of your property.
This is their MO on election day!

First I'd find out exactly how many feet away that you can have literature. I know when I was a kid in Chicago it was 100 feet.
THEN I'd find out about the "checking off of names" I think that's weird.. but..
THEN I'd call the republican office and make SURE there is someone for the pubbies out there.
IF he's within the guidelines let him be - bottom line - just because THEY are causing trouble - we need to rise above it. I'm not saying turn over - I'm just saying while you have a Christian School - you have agreed to allow it to be a polling place - therefore you should follow the rules in place for campaigning.
Call police, he is tresspassing. There is always the shotgun with rubber buckshot available at your local gun store. Wont kill the guy, but will give him the message. :)
(okay, just a little over the top there, but i am frustrated with moveon.communist)
It was raining so they had their coats on when they walked in. I did not notice.
I'd call the police as well. If he's breaking the law, let them be the enforcers.
Good luck with that. I can't find a number to call mine.
Hubby just called after he voted. Our neighbor signed the registry role and then asked if he could come back later to vote. The lady (precinct committee woman?) said he couldn't come back and vote later. He started acting up and saying "What? I've got to get to work. What do you mean I can't vote? I've worked precincts before and I always let people vote when they want." The lady said he had already signed, so he had to stay in line and vote now. He was causing a scene.
Some guy popped his head in the door, saw the long line, and left. Our neighbor started ranting that the other guy shouldn't be allowed to come back later and vote. The lady explained that he hadn't signed the ledger yet. Our neighbor was ranting some more.
I said that this explains why he's a Democrat. He's too stupid to vote. Hubby thinks they may have planned things like this so they can complain and cause trouble.
Are other people having trouble? This is a solid GOP county; however, we have orcs from Indianapolis moving in. I tried to call the county GOP and couldn't find a number. Hubbby said the polling lady was upset and trying to get through to someone but couldn't.
Dial 411. Ask for Republican headquarters for your county. They will have a number, believe me.
Or call the Voting Commission. Every county has one.
If I were you, I'd go back there and ask what you can do personally to help. They will have phone numbers for you to call. Or lend one of them a cell phone if they don't have one.
