Posted on 11/02/2004 5:41:13 PM PST by TruthCanHurt

2% of the precincts reported. Bush leading 50%-49%.

How can they call this a Kerry state?

I can call it a "state of denial." Or a "state of anger." See how easy it is? If you're the media, you just "call" it. Bingo!

Could someone please tell me where the best place to track results online is? Would that be Yahoo?

Thank you!

They already called it for sKerry. It must not be close in the exit polls.

It pisses me off, they wait forever to call SC, but call NJ based only on exit polling. Aaargh!

Probably because those precincts are more heavily Republican then they voted.

Exit polls must be overwhelmingly pro-Skerry.

I sensed something wrong with that in New Jersey. Bush will likely New Jersey.

Wow. I still don't expect Bush to win in NJ, but I lived there for most of my life and this shocks me. Really.

Depends on demographics of what they've counted thus far. If this was in Bush's strongest places with Kerry's strongholds still to go, that small a lead is not liekly to hold up. Of course, calling it that early is assuming a LOT...
