Exactly - In '01 Jumpin Jim thought he'd switch parties, thus giving power to the Dems. Then in '02 he was banking the Dems would gain in the mid-term as traditionally happens to the party not in the White House, therefore ensuring he would be in the majority party for the foreseeable future.
But it didn't happen that way, b/c the Dems got control (illegitimately) and immediately began acting like brats.
We should send congrats to Specter. Granted he is wrong about abortion, but we need to work together....
Call his office and congradulate them, and let them know you pray he changes his heart, but also that we can all work together.
