And that's *exactly* what Democrats say about Bush!

"Like Josef Stalin - and Kennedy - the cult of personality."
Lenny Kravitz

Umm, Kennedy was a Democrat.

It is a well known fact that the KGB infiltrated and coopted the Orthodox Church in Russia.

Surely the commies attacked the Orthodox Church in Russia as they attack the Roman Church in China today, but I cannot believe they totally co-opted it. You are pitting the power of Satan against God Almighty and betting on Satan.

Yours is a poor and risky bet, friend.

Today, the Russian Orthodox Church is a mix of real Christians and those who pose as Christians in order to steer the Church in a prescribed geopolitical direction.

As are ALL churches today. This is nothing new. Satan knows that it is better to attack from within.

So when Putin says he respects both the Church and USSR, we can understand that by "Church" he means the infiltrated, bastardized parts of it.

Hmmm... I wonder what divine power lets you see into the depths of this man's soul and make a perfect assessment of it. Who do you think you are?

Was Putin culpable for this? Or was it just a unethical company?

First of all, it's the government's responsibility to prevent these things from happening. And Moskow's official position was that no military hardware was being supplied to Iraq. As such the burden of proof is on Putin to show that he's blameless - that he did everything reasonably within his powers to put a stop to it. The evidence of that is wanting, unless someone can point to any reports of prosecutions of those companies and their officials for their activities. Their response to our inquiries was to deny that any such thing was happening, and to not-so-subtly accuse us of setting up a "humanitarian catastrophe" in Iraq.

It shoud be further remembered that the Russian government, right along with the French, was heavily involved in back-door oil contracts with the Iraqi regime.

Oh, not the whole Russian Orthodox Church was co-opted by the Commies - so how exactly will the partial co-option of the ROC help Russia's pull off "prescribed geopolitical direction"? You would think such a plan would work better with whole Church working for this secret Russian plan.

Thank you. I have been trying to enlighten these people into understanding their buying into the liberal Russian propaganda, but they are having a hard time.

The question was bait. There is sufficient evidence from for the US to conclude that it was unauthorized sales. To blame Putin is like implicating Bush for KBR or Boeing deals that are sour..
