Would be interesting to see how many new jobs could have been created with ALL the money spent by labor unions trying to get their boy in office. Unions. What a frikking waste.
There's a small part of me that hopes they do, but the honest truth is that they're too stupid, hateful, and out of of touch with the reality of America to listen, which in a way is good for us I guess.

They think they're enlightened and we're ignorant so the likelihood of them changing is greatly diminished. In order for the hard core Donks to change they must see that their path is wrong, not just that it isn't working and THAT isn't likely to happen.
Good for us? I don't know, it's certainly irritating for those of us living in the "blue" Northeastern States, that's for sure.
A talk radio caller today shared that anyone who disagrees with gay marriage must be one of those scary, ignorant evangelical Christians and both the talk show host and his sidekick agreed with the caller.
So, is that kind of mindset in America "good for us?" Not really. I hate the drift of our moral values toward this "enlightened" PC anything goes, value system.
To answer that question, ask the average Democrat a quiz on which of the following they would vote for today for President, as the cold, grey dawn of reality sinks in...
a) Tom Daschle
b) Nancy Pelosi
c) Howard Dean
d) John Kerry
e) Zell Miller
Their choice will give the answer to the question of whether they are in any danger of waking up.
ahhh, Zell... reading the strength and clarity of your convictions brings the familiar rush of energy up my spine, tingling of the hands, straightening of shoulders and mistiness in my eyes that I get when I'm in the presence of a fellow American who loves our country as deeply as I.
God keep you safe and happy among your most cherished ones in your retirement, Zell... you will always be in the prayers of millions of your fellow countrymen.
And I promise you this, Sir... though you and I may not see it come soon enough, I do believe that the Democrat party will resurrect to once again become a vital part of our nation. Indeed it must; where stands one Man such as yourself among its ranks, there must surely be others of similar stamp. And as we Conservatives have welcomed and grown to love you, so too shall we welcome those future Zell Millers in that resurrection of your party. They will have a long and hard road to hoe, but there must come a day when they will achieve this, and you will be as inspirational to them as was Thaddeaus Stevens to the then-young Republican Party of the 1870-80's.
