Speaking of Terry McAwful - have I missed seeing him among the talking heads or is he in hiding?

Is that boring and not-so-bright Kearns-Goodwin still on the shows? I thought the plagiarizer and alleged Johnson mistress had been dropped. Isn't it amazing that they still trot her out on TV. Those commies have no shame.

Trying to jump on the bandwagon? Sorry--there's no room. I agree. The Bolsheviks have had their day.

They can turn on a dime, can't they? John F(*cking) Kerry has quickly fallen from favor.

Is that boring and not-so-bright Kearns-Goodwin still on the shows? I thought the plagiarizer and alleged Johnson mistress had been dropped. You know it drives me to know end that I have to put up with many in the media who try and call this Kearns-Goodwin person a friggin "historian". True she very well may be a historian. But when she comes on these political shows a lot of people don't know she was a democratic hack who worked (and maybe slept) in the Johnson Administration.
The lyng by omission done by the MSM on Kearns-Goodwin and others (such as Russert) to portray people as indepentent thinking when their record shows something else is truly revolting.

There are a few of them that get it, but not many. They willblame Kerry and seek a new messenger, but they will not recognize that a growing majority of Americans no longer believe large parts of their message. Americans, save a few, do not consider dissent to be disloyalty, neither do we consider License to be Liberty. We look at the social degradation of our society and do not consider ourselves more free because no limits are placed on that degradation. We are repulsed and seekto either change it or withdraw from it. When we have tried to halt the decline we were called censors, puritans, book burners, and nazis. Now we are in a position to change reality. Not to seek revenge, not to deny liberty, but to restore the civic responsibility that goes with Liberty. The liberal Democrats refuse to get this. They see us as pitchfork and torch cariers raging against objective truth.
When they learn it is not hatred that motivates us, but responsibility, when they understand thatour concerns are not to limit their freedon, but to enlarge the civic and responsible liberty of all, then we can have meaningful dialogue. When they stop seeing us as the mob from Young Frankenstein, and realize that our concerns are for the future of our sons and daughters then we can talk. Unti that time...

Missed the live broadcasts of Bush and Kerry speeches, so I went to c-span.org to view them.
I started with the Bush speech. He finished with soaring, eloquent and uplifting praise about America's potential.
I tried to watch Kerry's. My head slammed into the keyboard TWICE! I prayed for the end to come just to get it out of the way for posterity, but I never made it.

They will continue to live in their BUBBLE, where it's safe and warm and REMOVED FROM REALITY.

I listened to sKerry's speech live and also followed the thread on FR that was set up by Howlin (that went to about 2,000 posts very quickly).
About halfway through sKerry's speech a lot of Freepers kept posting stuff like STFU etc. because he was being long winded etc.
So your observations are about in line with everyone elses here.
If you really want to do yourself a favour (NOT) - listen to Edwards speech about the fight just beginning etc. Now that was really disgusting!

Many of the Dems actually seem 'ok' that Kerry lost. I am not sure about that, at least on PMSNC. Ron Reagan and Kathleen Vanden Hateful were quite angry yesterday. And where is Lawrence "Straightjacket" O'Denial? I am sure he is yelling his TV still.
To: hawkaw
I caught parts of Edwards' speech. Just sentences, thus I stopped paying attention. As to his refernce about the fight just beginning -- fight over or for what? The war in Iraq? Maybe I missed an important part, but I've no idea what he was talking about.
