Bin Laden has more to say Terrorist claims Iraq's 'black gold' bedazzled Bush By NADIA ABOU EL-MAGD Associated Press

CAIRO, EGYPT - Terror mastermind Osama bin Laden claimed in new video footage broadcast Wednesday that President Bush ignored warnings against invading Iraq because he was dazzled by the country's "black gold" and ended up leading the United States into a quagmire.

The full video, portions of which were broadcast Friday, was posted on a Web site used by Islamic groups Wednesday.

The tape shows the author of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks accusing Bush of acting out of "private" interests — an allusion to his oil-business past.

Bush ignored the warnings because "the darkness of the black gold blurred his vision and insight, and he gave priority to private interests over the public interests of America," bin Laden says in the portions of the tape that the Qatar-based Arab network Al-Jazeera did not broadcast Friday.

"The war went ahead. The death toll rose. The American economy bled, and Bush became embroiled in the swamps of Iraq that threaten his future," bin Laden said.

Accusing America of oppressing and killing Arabs, bin Laden asks: "Is defending oneself and punishing the aggressor objectionable as terrorism? If it is, then it is unavoidable for us."

Analysts say bin Laden issued the tape in a bid to influence the U.S. presidential elections, which took place four days after Al-Jazeera broadcast it.

In another partial portion of the video released Monday, bin Laden vowed to bleed America to bankruptcy, boasting that for every $1 al-Qaida has spent on terrorist strikes, it has cost the United States $1 million in economic fallout and military spending, including emergency funding for Iraq and Afghanistan.

If we wanted black gold we could drill in Alaska.

For that matter we could mine more coal.

If McAuliffe grew a scraggly dark beard, I'm not sure I could tell the difference between him and Bin Laden.

Maybe the accent...

Osama also said "Californie is the place you oughtta be", so he loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly....Hills that is. Swimming pools. Movie stars. Left-wing jihadist sympathizers.

No mention of how his troops are visiting Allah by the tens of thousands.

For that matter we could mine more coal.

Didn't Bush say during the campaign that he wanted to increase the use of coal? Southern Ohio could sure use the business.

Two of best things that could happen for the world. One, Arafat dies and two, Bin Laden is killed. Or visa-versa. LOL

If we wanted black gold we could drill in Alaska.

We were already buying most of Iraq's oil. And could have dropped sanctions if we merely wanted more development.

On the bright side, though Osama's speech is a regurgitation of Fahrenheit 9/11, even Osama didn't fall for Moore's "Afghan pipeline" hypothesis.

What does Bin Laden know? He has been living (perhaps dead) in a cave for four years.
