With doctors claiming they have still not diagnosed Yasser Arafat despite a week of hospitalization and extensive testing, some commentators have been suggesting the PLO leader may be suffering from AIDS.
Arafat's condition suddenly deteriorated last night and he was placed in intensive care at the Paris military hospital where he was brought for treatment Friday, Palestinian officials said.

I suspected he had an impacted gall stone so they grought in doctors to do an EGD and remove the stone via a long tube via the swtomach, and he got septic. This rumor about Arafatrat having AIDS might be more than a rumor - if anyone has watched that flip clip of Arafat from last week (?) on CNN and a few other networks, it shows Arafat surrounded by all his loving admirers who are holding his hands, and suddenly Arafat looks like he's leaning over to HIS RIGHT, as if he were going to kiss, lick or even bite the hand of the guy holding his hand, and what is hilarious is that the guy jerks his hand back as if he doesn't want that nasssty Arafatrat tongue anywhere NEAR him, the film clip itself is looped over so it actually plays twice, so you get to see Arafat's biting attempt twice in one viewing. It is HILARIOUS!

I made the mistake of eating a snack while watching the news, and they kept playing that Arafat hand-eating clip. No sooner did I get the mess cleaned up, and they showed the video again. I didn't watch tv the rest of the day. When I turned the tv on again the next day, they were showing that darn video again. Is it safe to turn the tv back on yet, or are they still showing it?

It is not a well kept secret in the Arab world. I have spoken to some Arabs in Bahrain and Oman that told me the same. But you have to realize, in the Muslim culture, "pleasure sex" with other men is not what we in the West view it as. To them, it is OK and you just look the other way.
