Help California Secede!
http://usoutofsf.com/ ^

Slightly humorous (well, to conservatives, anyway) site born of post-election radical left bitterness.

This site is called "US out of San Francisco." It lists a petition site seeking to allow CA or just SF, I'm not too clear, to secede.

Judging by the posts to this site, a lot of people are more than willing to sign the "petition" and let the left coast go on it's own...

Yeah, that would be a good thing (East CA and West CA), but I don't see that happening with the 'rats controlling the state government here. They know they have a good thing going.

An East California would overwhelmingly vote for the Republican candidate. That would make the 'rats have to work a little harder to win the presidency.

I know I grew up in California, I loved it dearly. It was a beautiful state. My brother lived in San Jose and I worked in the City for awhile. I lived in Aptos and took the train from San Jose to the City. Yes I know what you mean. It began to change rather drastically after Dukmejian left office.

When I was transferred to TEXAS I didn't no what to expect. But Texas is my home and strangely enough just as beautiful as California. California left me. and Texas adopted me. I'm home

I love liberals. California's loss would be no big deal to the country. Bush was re-elected despite the opposition of the people of this state to his Presidency.

There is a very good book I think called the "The 900 days" that details how it worked.

Bottom line, if the body of water to the city's rear hadn't frozen over to allow transport in and out, the German's would have suceeded.

Yes; hence the term Left "coast"! North, East or West!
