Um.....okay. However, it does seem ironic that such a small part of the state (granted, it's highly populated) can give all fifty-five of California's Electoral College votes to Kerry and that this huge block of conservative voters, over four million who voted for Bush, have no sway over who wins the Golden State's EV votes.

So what do you think should be done? As it stands right now, whoever wins California already has a fifth of the Electoral College Votes needed to win the presidency. Amazing.

Split California into West and East, or even North and South. I think conservatives could take South California. What gives California to the left is the San Francisco Bay area, not so much the Los Angeles area.
