When 55 million voted the other way...it was not overhyped and it was not a route. Though I disagree with their methods, their message, and their ideology...I must recognize that did get those numbers...and you cannot write it all off to fraud. Mesmerized, fooled, lied to...yes. But they got those votes just the same and we have to deal with it and cannot ignore it and cavalierly write it off.

Education and reason are the ultimate keys. Communication is another...commmunicating the truth.

We won, and we won an important battle...and we did it more convincingly than they thought...but 55 million is 55 million, and it was for a candidate that is about as big a leftist/traitor/socialist/marxist as they had.

We must be prepared against the day that they come out with a more convincing, better communicating, stronger leader candidate that is just as committed to their misbegotten and unprincipled ideology...and one day they will.

We can start that preparation now...by educating, communicating, reasoning and by sticking to our principles with unwavering faith, so we defeat that leader of theirs een more convincingly.

I believe we can and shall do it, but it will not be easy and the fight will be long.

This is true my friend...and therein lies even more hope that we can completely turn this thing around.

...and, in time, we shall. We got a good start the other night.

Amen...end the Department of Education. Give it back to the several states and the people. Perhaps some minimum guidelines for overall proficency...but end it there. A few dozen bureaucrats in Washington, while the states and the people educate their own.

How this is resolved I do not know.

In the end...it will be by a dramatic, miraculous spirit of revival in morality, patriotism and consitituional thought...or it will be through the most dreadful of circumstances that literally drives us to our knees and purges society of the malcontents by its natural selection.

...and, IMHO, God in Heaven will be the dispenser.

We must educate, communicate, defend, reason and have great faith in either case. On the first hand to bring about the former if it can be brought about...on the other hand to have a faithful remnant to get through the latter and come out the other side with a nation, a constitution and a people intact.

Hard work and perhaps decades before it breaks one way or the other. But with moral issues at the forefront like abortion, open-unabashed homsexuality, and with the dangerous worldwide geo-political situation...its going to come unless we see that revival spirit first.

A logistics war of sorts then...I like that, and agree with it.

The proclivity toward searching for political solutions to what is clearly a spiritual problem is what is causing most of the frustration.

Amen...and very, very well and succinctly put.

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798

Thank you for posting the correct colors. The lamestream media didn't make the switch, in my opinion, because they wanted the connotation of Red to go with Republicans. Buit this year it was supposed to be switched like your posted map.

Note the county by county map of CA. We have got to counter the high population centers somehow.

Don't worry, the North Koreans will do that for us.

Counties with predominant Christian populations of protestant and LDS around the country voted the most overwhelmingly for Bush.

Bush also won the Catholic vote. His reach and appeal to the Christians in this nation, when faced with a choice between him and someone like Kerry is what really won this

There is a great film called the Jesus Factorthat PBS did on Bush. (I believe they thought it would be sort of a hit piece...but it has become very popular amongst evangelical, protestant and LDS christians because it depicts Bush as a very committed Christian.

Here's a link to it (I bought two DVDs, one for my family and one to loan out).

If we get into another fight with N. Korea...we'd best watch the Chinese. IMHO, they will way-lay us as soon as they think we are fully extended there and in the Mid-East.

I admit I haven't read any of your excellent novels, but isn't that close to at least one of the plots you put forward? If not, then maybe you should use that thought to weave such a plot in the future.

I just happy as a pig in poop that the Frenchurian Candidate was turned away in another of the Demonicrats attempted hostile takeovers of America's government!!!

Hi Jeff. Thanks for your thoughts on the election. The popular vote suggests a mandate for "W" and conservatives and we should be proud of what we accomplished this election. However(ahem), I see something troubling in the electoral college system. That is, Pubbies fortunes ended up in the hands of roughy 140,000 voters in Ohio.

This election would turn on three states, Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio; three KEY swing states. The winner of two out of those three would win the election, period. I think the final week and a half or so of campaigning bears this out. Scuttlebutt from the last few days of the campaign might even indicate that Florida was out of play for the Dims, which would have left only Pennsylvania and Ohio to swing the election. And looking back at the campaigns would suggest both parties put their final resources into Ohio although "W" made a major push for Pennsylvania late. THEY knew something we may have divined from their actions in the final hours. Both campaigns were fighting for those last 20 electoral votes in Ohio.

Now, one could say the system works based on the outcome, but consider the difference those roughly 140,000 Ohio votes could have made if they had gone to the Bolshevik. And one must also consider the 2000 outcome when popular and electoral votes are discussed.

Which brings me to my point. It's my understanding the electoral college was designed to keep the population centers from dictating to the rest of the country, but I haven't researched it enough to be sure. If that in fact is the case, it almost got turned on its head this time. IOW, we could have gone from a mandate for "W" to a traitor being placed in the White House on the strength of ~140,000 popular votes.

So, to me it was much too close for comfort, the popular vote notwithstanding. Does the electoral system need another look? I dunno, but at least this time it was almost a disaster for conservatives.

Thoughts?

It is in fact how the world-wide portion of the war starts...when the Chinese ambush our relief task forces coming to Korea with very smart, very long-range supercavitating weapons. Sort of like long range, underwater, cruise missiles.

We lose two carriers and a lot of other naval vessels while the Red Chinese and the terrorists unleash hell on CONUS at the same time.

That and the lead up to it is all in Volume I of The Dragon's Fury Series.
