Seems to remind me of the last time they tried to elect a Mass. politician to the presidency. Voters instinctively figure out what a total jerk he is, and then the whole story comes out shortly after he loses. Same goes for that fellow who supposedly was from Tenn, who went from being stiff to stark raving mad. As for Mondale, he didn't have a chance in hell from the very beginning. The only one who successfully fooled the voters was Bill.

It was more of a rhetorical question. We all know the media protects thier favored candidate. Now that the traitor lost, they need to discredit him rather than admit thier policies were rejected.
I attempted to have a substantive debate with a number of kerry supporters (re: Bush haters) during the run-up to the election but they just did not want to even discuss the matter.
They were perfectly content to regurgitate what the NY Times and cnn were saying and leaving it at that.
A lazy electorate is a dangerous electorate.
A presidency under this man would have been a total disaster. His indecision would have crippled the nation.
