I wanted to see Dandy Dan announce GWB's election, but he refused to do so. Of course, I watched a channel, then switched to another when there was a commercial, etc. At time I found the "Big Three" on commercial simultaneously -- so similar that they have commercials on cue too.

I've read that everyone at CBS dislikes and fears Rather, and supposedly he has 'dirt' on a great many people there. Well, he must have dump truck loads of dirt on all the management of CBS if they keep him on till his announced retirement in 2005.
