Bumping.

I've become addicted to this site. I've sent out 3 packages of letters and little treats. I've found myself grocery shopping for the family, and stopping in my tracks discovering items that I think the soldiers could use.

Great site!

I see your bump and raise you one! :-)

And I raise you... what a great vehicle this is to support the troops... I consider this a fine way to stick my finger in the media's eye. btt

The posters in Iraq and Afghanistan now number over 3,000, they ask for as little as simply letters of support. By reading their posts, you will get the *latest news* of the war effort.

You can get a flat postage rate box at the post office for free, and pay $7.70 to send a box of goodies to a soldier/marine/airman/marine who has little support from home. They mostly ask for little, just support.

This is a great cause. Visit http://www.anysoldier.com Click on "where to send" and read some posts from our soldiers... their posts fill in the blanks the media chooses to ignore. Read the posts for a few days, and you will learn much.
