Jimmy Carter requests permission to go to Arafat funeral; Said to be eager to lead delegation

Jimmy Carter has requested permission to attend Arafat's funeral, per Andrea Mitchell. Carter is said to be eager to go. No word yet from the White House.

Low level State Dept. delegation will attend.

Smart move on Carter's part to request permission. I was hoping peanut boy would pull a Cuba trip and go on his own authority.

I think we can all agree that Carter has humiliated our country enough. All we need is to have him throw himself into the open grave and try to do that wierd tongue sound the middle east women do when they are mourning.

We should send Carter. He is such a dupe. Sending him shows that no sane person ever to hold a position in American government would go. The tyrant loving peanut farming dufus is our go to guy in situations like this.
