Carter has been trying to salvage his rep every since he left office. No luck! And they used to say Billy was an embarrassment to him. Huh!

Jim, although I don't entirely disagree with your premise regarding Reagan, it's impossible to dismiss the cold war situation at that time. The void left by the demise of 'the evil empire' is a lot easier filled by the U.S. today. At that time we would have had to risk confrontation to do what we're doing now.

They're both an embarassment to everyone. It's a toss-up for me, which was truly the worst. I'd have to come down on Clinton, because the left's decision to back him to the hilt, is what brought on the division that is rocking our nation today. Both are leftist idiots of the highest order!

I heard on Rush that one of the reasons Arafat went to France to die is because France does not require any cause of death to be listed. Not an answer to you question, I realize. We'll probably never know for sure.

Former US President Jimmy Carter called Yasser Arafat (news - web sites) "a powerful human symbol and forceful advocate" who united Palestinians in their pursuit of a homeland.Translated into English: Captain Malaise called Yasser Arafat "a tyranical leader who used bombs, guns, and the blood of innocents to build a powerbase from which sprang the Palastinian Authority."

Ha ha ha... sorry too, that's how my mind works.
That is funny. Billy took a whiz on the bush, and Carter took one on the nation. And he still does every chance he gets.
Take care.

Just think what America would have been like had Carter won reelection in 1980.

What a complete and total fool.

Carter is Exhibit "A" for why demonrats can not be trusted with national security. Nice job with Iran, Jimmy. I am sure that they have a place of honor for you in a museum in Tehran.

Sorry, some are evil (Saddam, Osama, Castro, Kim Jong Il & Arafat) and I Will toast but others are while misguided do not raise above the bar to Hellfire. (With the possible exception of Hanoi Jane & Kerry, I'm not sure of them)
