So soon after they have a new foreman?

I thought they were off today.

I don't know how to do odds. If we're going to post our predictions, I will optimistically say "guilty", but am wise enough to expect just about anything.

IF he's found guilty, will the conviction hold up on appeal? Personally, I have my doubts.

Never take a sucker bet. Peterson will be out fishing for the "real killers" by Monday.

I didn't know he was a fisherman. I thought he was a golfer!

Will that be before or after they fire the foreman and dismiss a couple more jurors?

Exactly. Whatever this 13- or 14- or 15-member jury decides will not be accepted by anyone.

Hopefully, they'll vote guilty, but I'm not placing any bets. At least then, there'd be an appeal and another trial. If Scott goes free, can the State file for a mistrial?

In my opinion they never proved absolutely that he murdered her. Therefore, the death penalty shouldn't be on the table, imho.

But there's a chain of circumstantial evidence that says Peterson PROBABLY killed her. The defense offered no strong alternative....a remotely possible one.

I think I would vote to convict him.

But...I think they'll come back as not guilty.

I think that Peterson is guilty as sin, but I can't predict a California jury.

I'll bet $0.001 (one tenth of a penny) that the jury finds him guilty :-)

Guilty. No way they let this guy walk. Especially since the judge bounced the jurors leaning not guilty. Thank god this thing is over.

You saw that too? I was shaking my head at her questions/comments.

"Did that for sale sign on that house go up after the murders? I see an unattended newspaper - have the neighbors left the area?"

And my favorite: "Coming up - Was this a RANDOM ACT? OR do neighbors need to be afraid?"

y'know - I don't care. If he did it (he did) and is convicted - fine, the inmates will take care of him. If he is released and walks aimlessly the rest of his (short) life like O.J. then society will probably figure out a way to rectify the situation. He will not likely get a pay-per-view interview either. But this is REALLY BIG NEWS because we won't have to hear about this godforsaken trial anymore.

What do Tradesports, the Iowa Electronics Market, and the WAPO, Zogby and Rasmussen tracking polls say?

Oops. Sorry. Old habits die hard.

The new juror sat on two prior juries, curious to know what the verdicts were in those two cases
