According to Specter's overall voting record, there are times when he votes for the right thing. Other times not.

He says he wants to be more of an independent voter, and that's okay. But the problem is with his possibly being the Chairman of such an important Committee as the Judiciary.

As other posters have noted, the Chairman does have a big impact over the proceedings and even the staff involved. It's just too important a position to hand over to a liberal "Republican" (?).

No, we cannot trust Rick Santorum, unfortunately.

I was shocked to find out that, during the campaign for Arlen, Rick called Toomey an extremist and a too-far right winger.

Proof please. I'm so sick of you guys trashing our finest conservatives in Congress. Half the garbage you guys are spouting are lies.
