My favorite, too. I love the look on the marine's face as he's holding the terrorist/murderer's head down. That look shows he really knows he's dealing with the spawn of satan.

"President Bush has the terrorist-killing power of Mu'a dib
because his name alone appears to able to kill a terrorist."
Appropriate for a war with ruthless throwbacks in a desert country.

Too bad the terrorists aren't as emaciated as their hostages.
Great pics--thanks.

Remarkable images.
Fantastic job U.S. Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, and Navy! (I believe that they all took part.)
Re. Duct (nee Duck) tape. It looks like electrical tape to me. And if you think about it, electrical tape would be a tad more humane (easier to remove).

Question..now that Iraq has a viable provisional government, and we are undertaking this mission at their request..what happens to the prisoners we take? Are they turnied over to the Iraqi forces for detention /interrogation?.. I haven't seen this mentioned, and it concerns me,becuase if there are ( as seems likely) infiltrators in the Iraqi forces..then the prisoners, especially the HVTs, could get away..

I am still opposed to the taking of "prisoners."
I would much prefer "corpses."

In your top pic that looks like wide, black electrical tape. I know it isn't but what is it?
