The wave of religious violence sweeping the Netherlands has seen another mosque in the south of the country torched. Police say they are assuming it was the work of arsonists.More than ten Christian churches and Muslim mosques have been damaged by fire since a Dutch filmmaker was killed by a suspected Islamic militant at the start of November.
Theo Van Gogh sparked fury from some Muslims with a film that accused their religion of promoting violence against women.
In an effort to calm the situation Queen Beatrix visited a Moroccan youth centre in Amsterdam.
The Dutch government says it shares her concern over the violence in a country normally associated with freedom and tolerance.
Police say dozens of people have been arrested, including both radical Islamists and far-right extremists.
I'm impressed by the Dutch as of late.
It appears that not just a few of them actually have spines and free spirits. Maybe there's hope for them after-all.

So one person gets killed by Muslims and we see a rash of violence against the Muslims in the Netherlands.
We lose 3000 folks under a planned attack by Muslim terrorists, and the vindictive nature of the US population results in one dead Sikh (who unfortunately was mistaken for a Muslim.)
And Europeans claim the moral high ground and that Americans are a bunch of idiot hate mongers???

They need the political will to deport those who refuse to assimilate into Dutch society. We need to do the same here.

There has always been a nationalist Dutch underground. Remember that Pim Van Tuin, a flagrantly gay nationalist conservative (parse that, baby) was due to win national elections before he was assasinated. There is still a stong anti-foreign element in Holland.

People, with time, will learn to differentiate; those whose wellbeing depends on their disassociation from the enemy will join the fight against evil and will no longer be mistaken for the someone else.

Only a matter of time before there will be no middle-of-the-roaders. As Islam becomes more radicalized, their hosts will move from center and will all be called 'far-right extremists.' Cause and effect. If Islam is as scholarly as it claims to be they would know that. Were not the hosts friendly to begin with?

Who's keeping score?
Since some of us are not up on Dutch Foreign events, I would like to see a link that repeats this before I take this detail as fact. Maybe I am completely wrong and Van Gogh had a film on this politician and this is confirmed in the movie but until I see something more on this, I don't accept this statement as fact. We do have Freepers from Holland on here, maybe they can comment on this matter.

The spelling at google is Pim Fortuyn.
The name of the assassinated politican was Fortuyn. He argued that unless Holland limited immigration and insisted on assimilation, its tolerance of Moselms would be the death of this tolerant, secular state. He was assailed in the Euro press as a fascist and a racist. After his death, howver, his views were treated more respectfully. He was assassinated by a "Green" nutter.
Van Gogh made a movie (with a Dutch Moslem woman pol) which documented the Moslem abuse of women and for that he was targeted for assasination by an AQ-linked group.
Afterwards, the Dutch government said their were 150 potential terrorists in Holland they'd been watching but that they lacked the resources to tail them 24/7.
The Dutch, in fact, are sick of this multicultural pablum as a tendered solution to the problem. It may be too late. I hope not. In the meantime there, as in France, the rich elite which fostered these nonsensical policies are leaving Holland.
