Hollywood power couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have reportedly split after a 21-year romance. Friends have revealed the couple's relationship has "lost its zip" in recent years and Hawn has moved on to realize her dream of traveling the world. In recent years, the 59-year-old Buddhist actress has been spending more and more time in India, where she often meets up with Pakistani cricket legend Imran Khan - a friendship that has reportedly upset Russell. According to sources on the set of Russell's new movie Sky High, the actor isn't taking the split well. One tells America's Globe tabloid that the movie star has been surly on the set, arguing with cast mates Kelly Preston and Lynda Carter. The source tells the tabloid, "Kurt seemed totally out of control and, instead of letting up when he saw Kelly's reaction, he just kept going until she finally burst into tears."
a cricket legend? lol
Kurt is a survivor in Hollywood. GB him. :-)
I read somewhere that he is a Libertarian.
I dunno if he's a Republican...heard he was much more conservative in his politics than Goldie is.
I remember collecting Pakistani cricket legends cards as a youth. I can still smell the bubble gum.
As long as he's not a mushbrained liberal, it's all good. :)
They never respected their relationship enough to grant it marital status, so what difference does it make?
Aside: I saw Goldie on TV last night. She is looking her age - from the neck up.
Kurt is a Libertarian leaning right instead of Left. It would be good if we could get him to run for office in a blue state as an R. Possibly Wisconsin or NH so we could lock them up next time.
He is very intelligent.
Why is it that Hollywood people become so totally WEIRD!!!!! Seriously. What's in the water out there?
LOL!!
And I still remember getting the Pakistani National Cricket Team card - what a thrill. That Abu Somethingorother was a great player.
lol...Goldie has never played with a full deck...maybe she will take a bath and drink George Harrison's ashes out there in India and think she has gained some musical talent now.
I'm not sure of his political party affiliation but he is conservative. He enjoys hunting and fishing, etc. Not a typical hollywierd type at all.
I will add my wishes that they get back together. I really like Kurt, wish she wasn't so liberal... :(
"... the 59-year-old Buddhist actress..."
As opposed to the *Catholic actress*, *Methodist actress*, *Jewish actress*?
WTF's that all about?
I think it is magnified because of the attention celebs get but I certainly agree that they subscribe to the theory that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Hopefully, if this is true, she will stay in India and bring some of her business pals with her.
No red flags here.
She used to be Jewish. This is new too.
They (like Kurt and Eastwood and such) were Republicans when Reagan was in office and the focus was taxes and the Soviets. Now, the focus is more on social policy and they don't consider themselves Republicans anymore.
Yes, there were three Abu's if I recall: Manny, Felipe and Jesus (inside joke for those who may not know the Alou Brothers in baseball of those names).
This would be far more interesting if the headline said "Kurt and Goldie spit."
How do you spell palimony?
Lol!
I had the entire TOPP's collection of the Pakistani Stingrays - what a cricket team!! It was worth chewing that hard bubblegum.
The thrill of getting Felipe Abu Somethingorother's card - of course, there were 3 cards of some loser named Nolan Ryan in that pack - it always seemed to workout that way.

He's recently divorced
I once traded a Nolan Ryan card for a Fred Norman card so I could complete my 1975 Big Red Machine team. :-)
Snake Plissken rules.
I traded my Fred Lynn card for a Glenn Hubbard card to complete the Braves team set. This was back when the Braves lost over 100 games a year - I think they started the season with 50 losses.
I became a Cubs fan in 1981 - have been ever since.
small world.
That name must be like the name Jones is here.
I read a Boston Globe story about the Illinois senate race, the day after, and Jack Ryan was described as a "white man with sexual improprieties."
I can't believe I actually know something about this, but just read an article about Khan, so here goes:
I hope Goldie doesn't go off the deep end and wind up with this Khan. His now-divorced British-born wife, one of Sir James Goldsmith's numerous heirs -- though Jewish -- converted to islam to marry Khan.
He's run for some political office in Pakistan, but lost that contest, I believe.
Anyway, if I were Kurt, I'd be pretty upset too that she's taken up with a moslem man who was known to mistreat his wife, if those stories are true.
I know that's not Goldie or Kurt, so who is that man?
ROTFL!! Thank GOD I had already swallowed my coffee.
KHAN!!!!
Star Trek reference.

Are Grant, Kahn to wed? He smiles, keeps mum
November 5, 2004
BY BILL ZWECKER SUN-TIMES COLUMNIST
While most of the people at the big CNN party in London Tuesday were gabbing about our presidential election, several spies closely watched Hugh Grant squiring around his lady love, Jemima Goldsmith Kahn.
The actor and the heiress made quite the fetching couple -- as the Brits might put it -- and a loyal BZ source at the fete (held in the National Portrait Gallery) passes on this intriguing tidbit:
''Several times I heard people introduce Jemima as Hugh's fiancee.'' While Grant's people have continued to deny any engagement, my CNN insider swears Grant ''never contradicted anyone ... merely stood there smiling with a real twinkle in his eye.''
The couple have been dating since early this year, and the paparazzi have photographed them looking extremely cozy -- everywhere from cruising the Mediterranean to sipping champagne over romantic dinners in London.
(snip)
I remember collecting Pakistani cricket legends cards as a youth. I can still smell the bubble gum.
I've got a 1903 "Shoeless joe Alhamdi" that my father said
would be worth a lot some day, and the gum is still with it.
I still have my Ghandi Gehrig card. Ah yes, the ole "Iron Walker".
I have a Mordecai "Three Fingers" Abdullah card. Not sure how he got to three fingers but I have a guess.
No fair - he played in Iraq.
That was part of the Fleer set. Stick with Topps.
Good call - my mistake. Fleer was always cheap.
Remember the "mistake" cards? I still have the Stalin card in a French uniform. That has to be worth some money.
Yes, I believe it listed him as Craig Nettles.
